The pastry shop was cute and well arranged. The staff was friendly and helpful. They actually suggested that we could eat upstairs. We chose to eat at the restaurant upstairs to have the desserts but also a meal. First the restaurant is beautiful and made us feel like we were in a traditional fancy tea room. The deep navy blue chairs seemed very fancy. Our server was polite and attentive. I ordered the croquet monsieur with spinach salad and my companion ordered the crispy chicken burger with fries. I also had the cafe latte declinaison with caramel. The croquet came out in three pieces which was actually nice because it means there is more crispy area ration. There was a lot of ham with the dish. However the meal sat a little heavy. All the spinach leaves in my salad were covered in oil and the oil had a slight odor; they were thorough in making sure every leave was covered front and back with oil. My companion’s chicken burger was good but the chicken meat was 2/3 the size of the buns. The fries are cut thinner and smaller than the other restaurants but the fries tasted better. The latte didn’t have much flavor until I got to the bottom and I had mixed the drink with a spoon a couple of times. The meal was expensive. You are paying for the ambiance. We opted not to get desserts here.

This place is more of an experience than a quick stop for sweats. We just decided on the spur of the moment to stop in for some macaroons. The staff is very polite and they do a great job of mixing efficiency with personality. As you walk up to make your choice, they make that moment all about you and your experience regardless of the line behind you. However, in that moment of having a personalized experience, they usher you through the process without feeling like you were rushed. This is a master-level execution of skill. They have different size and designs of boxes to place your macaroons in. We chose a teal box that holds a dozen macaroons. At the start, they offer you a selection of macaroons to choose from for a sample tasting. Then, after you enjoy that, you make your selection. The macaroons are light on the tongue and heavy in the hand. We selected an array of different flavors and enjoyed them all. My favorite was the salted caramel. My least favorite was the rose, it tasted like I was eating my grandma’s closet, musty old lady perfume (yuck!). The shop is cute and has a feel of a quaint tea room. Additionally, they serve other sweats and pastries, they are more than just macaroons. You’ve got to stop by for your own experience, trust me and go. Enjoy!

I was very excited to come to this location and dine in on the Pains Perdu (French toast). The atmosphere is very quiet and I didn’t need to make a reservation for my table of two on a Thursday morning. My server was polite and accommodating. All of the staff were very polite as well. The hot chocolate was very rich and tasted more like dark chocolate, than milk, chocolate. I added whipped cream on top and enjoyed it. The Pains Perdu was as soft as a cloud when cutting into it. The taste was light and fluffy yet flavorful. It’s not as sweet as American French toast, but then again nothing is as sweet as American food lol. I got the strawberry Pains Perdu and it did not disappoint! The brioche bread that is used to make the dish tasted slightly overdone, but the fresh strawberries, dried strawberries crispies, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry glaze made up for it. Overall, quite a lovely experience. (I’m diabetic and was able to eat the entire entree and my blood sugar DID NOT spike as it certainly would have in America). Definitely go for the experience and ambiance!

I ordered my birthday cake here and it was perfect! I chose the signature Ispahan and it absolutely deserves the fame! Service was a bit slow but very patient and professional! I am always having a hard time wording food, but the lady provided me with detailed descriptions for each cake I asked, and gave helpful suggestions to help me make a decision. At the beginning I preferred a big pistachio macaron cream cake for its beautiful color, but after learning that it would be too intense and monochrome I changed my mind. I think I have made the right decision! The Ispahan is full of big and fresh raspberries, accompanied by fresh lychee and rose cream, between two layers of macaron pastries. The macaron was also rose flavour, crunchy outside but moist and chewy in the middle. They were kind of sweet, but as the fruits and rose cream inside are very light and almost super free, it does not feel too much! One funny thing was that they did not have a smaller box so they used a very large one for my cake which was only a 4-person size. And pay attention that the candles are charged (which was not the case in other countries) and the "number candle" is very expensive, 4 euros each. Better prepare candles yourself or choose the normal candles which are 90 cents each. Anyway it was a beautiful and delicious birthday cake perfect for the season. Thank...
