Location : Good, central and walking distance to many attractions Room : overall clean, however I have real issues and concerns over 2 things. First, the 'Do not disturb' signage was provided at least for my room, but the cleaner would come everyday to make the bed despite me putting up the sign in front of the door every day leaving the room, when i checked with the receptionist at the end of day 2 (I thought i made a mistake by putting the other way round the first time), i was advised that we have to actually inform the reception not to make the bed if we want to and this is not informed upfront. Second, Air conditioning, i stayed for 5 nights, and had 2 nights of very bad sleep without air circulation in the room, had to open the window to cool the room and the noise from the road (one of which was on Friday) evening is a nightmarish experience. Service : the day time receptionists were very helpful and friendly, the night receptionist was not helpful at all, and this had something to do with the aircond situation. I asked for help when i could not turn on the cooling mode (as what i did for the first 2 nights) and all he did was asking me to put up with it after trying to press the central control. Failed to assist and ask me to inform the day receptionist, brushing me off telling me he has many work to do, isn't their CORE work to help customers? Would not recommend based on my wife and my experience...

With my travels in Europe and other parts of the global and having stayed in various types of hotel, I’ll recommend Hotel du Triangle d'Or based on two main factors first is the service of the staff and second the location. The staff has been magnifique such as Grace at the reception and Suman at the F&B breakfast area. Both of them have been very friendly, provide good information and attentive to details, apart from my own experience, I’ve also observe them do it to other guests. Suman for example even gave a pillowcase to another guests to ensure her seating comfort while having breakfast is good and while Grace she was even helping out with certain shows/concert booking just because other guests doesn’t speak French.
When in Paris and if you want to stay near the main site seeing and shopping areas are within 150-500 metres (Place Madeleine, Galerie La Fayette, Opera House, Saint Honore, etc) this is a good place.
The space of the hotel room is good enough as expected and the cleanliness of the bedsheets, pillows, towels are good standard.
When I return to Paris and need to be around this area, I will definitely book st this hotel.

Read moreThis hotel has high command online but I won't give a very good score. The service at the front desk is good when I was check I/O. Location of this hotel is also good. There is a carrefour less than 3 mins walk and it closes to Auber RER station. You may take RER here to Outlet, Disney, etc. Also, amount of bus stop was located here.(include Roissy bus)
The worst of the hotel, First, this hotel didn't offer water kettle in each room, if you need hot water, you have proceed to front and ask them. The reason was one guest caused an electronic problem before, then hotel removed all kettles. That was inconvenient.
Second, carpet in my room was not very clean and the throw pillow in my room was very DIRTY. It looks like has never clean but house-keeping put it back to the bed everyday.
Third, house-keeping will take the tips first then clean up your room later. I didn't know the real reason, but they didn't wash my cups and I feedbacked to frontdesk. They said I could go to restaurant and get a clean one. They didn't deliver it by themself. (poor service)
Besides the location, I don't think this is a...
