Read moreWell. From a standpoint of a vegetarian people, I should say that I was disappointed in finding out that no stew except okra was made or could be made vegetarian. Having been in many Persian restaurants in Canada, US n even recently in Vienna (Loved Apadana R) it was the first time that I could not get a stew without meat. I asked for dough with soda and they did not have or said they could not add it to their already ready made dough. I asked for lemon soda and the server said they have lemonade. I asked if they can give lemon n soda as I don’t like sweet and he said it was not possible. Not sure why. Maybe they don’t have soda water? Otherwise, everywhere they easily accommodate one with soda and a piece of lemon. By the way, the price of a dough was more than my Shirazi Salad (8Euros). So I got bhagalipolo as a side dish as I could not order any main dish. Even when I asked for Salad Shirazi to be without onion, the waiter said that it is also not possible because it is already made. Again, why could they not cut a bit of tomato n cucumber n add the dressing in order to accommodate the guest? I can’t think of any restaurant as inflexible as this one for my taste :-) Well. Again - It maybe a great place for non vegetarian people but if you are one like me, best to choose another restaurant in Paris, so you have better veg choices. The service also was so-so- Maybe because they were busy on Saturday evening? The order was taken late n the bill also took long to reach my table! But again, I think it could have been better if they had one more waiter in the front area when it is busy. The atmosphere is simple but clean...
Read moreI went there on a Saturday night with my partner, when I entered I didn't feel welcomed. The waiter had no smile or welcoming approach, and when we walked in, it felt like we were not welcome.
The waiter took a good 10 minutes to come to us bare in mind it was not too busy, then he insisted we order quickly and get our starters and main together as they are about to close the kitchen at 22:30 (WHO EVEN CLOSES AT 22:30 ON SATURDAY) did not even take the time to explain to us the menu as we are foreigners, we ended up ordering the Lamb Shank. When our food came, which wasn't as expected, the rice was off, it tasted funky, like a sharp pungent taste the texture feeling of the rice was hard not soft. The Lamb Shank was drenched in this red sauce that wasn't very flavoursome, we also raised this with the restaurant and still got fully charged... In London, if you are an unsatisfied customer, you can appeal not to pay. The other people dining were Iranian I did not see any other kind of person there so maybe they're like this to outsiders, but I will not go there again, and I will actively tell my friends and family to never go there. Me and My Partner enjoy going out to eat, especially our dinner. We are big foodies and we normally blog for our social media and YouTube they're, lucky we was not doing a...
