Résidence Palais Etoile — Hotel in Paris

Lovely apartments run by the great team of Michaella and Joshua.

Stayed over for 2 weeks crossing over Christmas and New year.

Location was very convenient and very good at that. A super quick walk to our often used Metro 1 line, which basically was our main metro line that got us to most of Paris attraction visits.

The apartment is also very near RER C and RER E (which is a newly opened station during 2024), RER E which is actually a very very nice and modern station with a lot of modern and bigger trains running on it. Something out of a sci fi movie. =)

RER E station is just 2 stops to Magenta which is by gare du nord and a quick walk to gare de l'est. These 2 stations gets used for a lot of regional/longer and cross country travels. just 2 stops away from the station by the apartment. (So bringing big luggages from this hotel to Gare du nord and Gare de l'est was comfortable and convenient.) We got to use both stations.

And the apartment is also very near a Tram T3B stop as well, we didn't get to use that though.

The classic apartment we got was exactly how the pictures from their site represented it. We got what we expected, and was very pleased about the room and the whole stay. No complaints here. =) The room available clear book guide was very helpful on how we made our stay better in the apartment plus on what we can find very near the apartment in terms of establishments and their offered services. (food, grocery, pharmacies, etc).

Michaella was very responsive and very accommodating. Together with her son Joshua, they actually was able to usher us in during check in since we chanced upon them being there during our arrival. =)

Had the best experience at Residence Palais Etoile!!!

We have been in and out of apartments in our travels and this has by far been the best so far in Europe and one of my favourite ever!

The location is amazing - above a lovely cafe, near a grocery store, steps from a refurbished metro station and tram line with rental bikes. It's a short walk to the Arc de Triumph and an awesome parkland and a short bike ride (which I recommend - set up the Velib app in advance) to the major landmarks and CBD. Somehow right near everything but also peaceful!

What's even better than the great location though is the apartment and attention to detail. The check in and entry process was very easy and meant we had no issues. Complimentary water, snacks, coffee pods and gifts were a lovely touch! The BEST water pressure in Europe and no puzzle to turn on the shower, just a normal mixer. A washer dryer that actually works and has instructions, USB chargers, AC and windows made our stay very comfortable!

Oh and the lift!!! We used the stairs mostly, but after carrying heavy bags up and down stairs at other cities, I was so happy to see the lift!!!

What was most impressive was the use of space. Looking at the images I thought we might struggle with 5 people and large suitcases - nope! Plenty of storage, plenty of hangers, no wasted space like long hallways, comfortable and functional sofa beds, comfortable bed in the bedroom, small but functional and pleasant kitchen.

It was a great pleasure staying at Residence Palais Etoile during our Spring Break in Paris. Michaella and team made every effort to make our stay comfortable and needs met. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 young kids. In the apartment, everything was set and ready for use with a guiding manual on how to operate washer/dryer, dishwasher, and stove. Detergents, nespresso, tea, and other supplies were also available. The apartment and complex were clean and in great condition.

Now the better part, this place is close literally to everything. Shopping mall for groceries, fresh Paul bread and macarons was just across the street (Congress Paris). RER metro is in front of the apartment: we used it daily to go all over Paris; except Arc De Triumph and Ave Champs Elysees, which were just 10min walking distance from the apartment! The Surrounding area is pretty safe and lively. There are tons of great restaurants in the area were we ate daily.

Michaella and her team offered room service during our stay which exceeded our expectations. If am back in Paris at any time, I would not stay in any other place. Would absolutely recommend especially...
