Club Maillot — Local services in Paris

!!!BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! CMG Clubs are NOT FRIENDLY TO FOREIGNERS - (ESPECIALLY AMERICANS). I signed up for the club on 5/3/2017 and told EXPLICITLY that I needed to pay 180 Euro for month #1 and 70 Euro per month going forward. This is already a very high price, but due to location I didn’t have a choice. I chose this because 70 Euro going forward fit my budget for the summer. When I returned the manager said I needed to pay 180 Euro for each additional month and denied having agreed to the original price. I AM A STUDENT and would never have agreed to this. I made this explicitly clear to the person signing me up. Even though I explained this to the manager along with the fact that I am a FOREIGN STUDENT ON A BUDGET, he gave me a smug smile and shrugged his shoulders. Not to mention the entire time I belonged there I was greeted with similar distaste from the staff apparently because I am not fluent in French. DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB IF YOU ARE FOREIGN!!!!

CMG Staff – I expect a personal apology and a club membership for the agreed upon price if you would like these...

everything is fine, except 2 things: -the first is the vending machine which is very old and only accepts cash. -the 2nd negative remark which should be taken seriously, is the woman trainer of the box session. She is authoritarian, contemptuous, threatening and shouting at everyone as if we are CM1 students. On 08/31/2022 during the 8:00 p.m. session, she didn't stop despising everyone and threatens to fire us from her session since she has the ultimate authority and delegation of the administration, to eject anyone from her session. We were shocked. She also told everyone to never talk to each other when she is speaking. What an authority!!! I decided to boycott the box sessions despite the fact that it was one of the main reasons for my registration. It is better to replace her before other people leave the box courses. Apart those 2 problems, the rest is great (reception, staff, equipment, shower, sauna, atmosphere, and other...

If I could give zero stars, I would. The CMG organization is sad excuse for a gym. Due to structural concerns and then "upgrading the bathroom facilities" this gym was closed for over a year; however, the members were not compensated. I feel bad for any new members that join this over-priced sports club, because it's simply not worth the month. There are many other cleaner and modern facilities that cost half as much as CMG does. Save yourself and go to a gym where the machines are not broke and where the gym is not over crowded due to space...
