We had dinner here one night during Christmas week. We easily made a reservation through Google. Our French is pretty bad, but the staff was easily able to speak English with us and take our orders. Itâs a very interesting room with a huge tiger in the middle and a beautiful ceiling. We ordered a couple of the tarte flambe which is their specialty and you can actually see the brick ovens in the background making these. It was quite good and I highly recommend the traditional one. We also had excellent Alsatian white wine and Christmas beer. My son loved his kids meal, burger and frites.
Surprisingly, our favorite thing about this meal with the desserts. We had their chocolate mousse, which was outstanding. I couldâve eaten that all week long. We also had their specialty Kaiserschmarn which is like a pancake dish with applesauce. My sister-in-law loved that. All in all a great warming cozy dinner during a cold Christmas week....
Read moreThey ignored the two of us for about thirty minutes as waiters just passed in front of us to the smoke break area. When the waiter finally arrived, he made us pay literally in the middle of my meal. Twice. Either charge us at the beginning or at the end of our meal, not in the middle of it! Super rude. Also, I speak some french but my friend didn't, well, the waiter refuses to speak a single word of English even though his English is better than my friend's French.
EDIT: No, I'm not asking for the waiters to attend me when they are on break at all. They are ON BREAK. What I mean, is that they can clearly see us because they are walking past in front of us on their way to their addiction, and when they've finished with their super disgusting habit of smoking whilst...

Internal also different parts which makes it great for a big party. In our case we had 500 people. We enjoyed the food and drinks. In the front part there was a DJ with a dancing floor. More to the back the open kitchen.
Friendly and active staff who worked hard to supply everyone. The queue for getting a drink (with this big crowd) was a bit long though. A nice way to meet new people perhaps. The payment process (pin) could be more streamlined so it could be done much faster, releasing one person from just payment duty in busy times.
The FlammkĂŒchen were good, the salads too, the meat cuts too.
A place to...
