Lovely place! A nice flat 5 min walk from the centre of town, sweet front yard that is full of grape vines and pink flowers - a couple of separate areas too like the outdoor seating near the rooms and under the gazebo.
The hostess is really friendly and helpful - she doesn’t speak English but google translate exists so it doesn’t matter. I kept a couple of bags here too while I was out on a multi day hike 😊
The room is basic but it’s all you need, and for the price it’s pretty hard to beat. I could have had my bag in the room but I chose to keep it in the indoor area next to the bedroom to make for more floor space since it was all packed up anyway. There were 7 people in the dorm room I stayed in.
Also 10 lari for washing and there’s a good amount of space on the washing line to dry your clothes (and air out a sleeping bag etc).
There’s a kitchen with a stovetop, all the amenities, fridge.

The hostel itself is run by very helpful and friendly people who seem happy to do anything you ask. It is clean and tidy with plenty of blankets, heaters and towels. The shower has good hot water and good water pressure. Soap and toilet paper are always replenished. The kitchen is well equipped and you can arrange breakfast if you require. Tea and coffee available all the time and are included in the price. Occasionally, due to inclement weather, the electric might go off for a short time. Candles and matches provided.
