This restaurant is unfortunately a big trick. All what they want is your money at the end of the crumbs they give to the people. I don't recommend it at all. They cheated us. I'll never repeat this very bad experience anymore.
The dishes don't match what is written on the Menü. The plates are so big that apparently seem full, but in reality the plates are almost empty. They decorate the dishes in a way they seem full and square enough for an adult. But actually one dish, is expensive and not enough even for a child. The dishes are full of pickles, the cheapest item that you can have allover the world. As I made the order, the waiter told me that this dish includ three dishes and when I got the dish I was surprised that it was nearly not the dish that I have ordered. One spoon baba Ganoug, very very little quantity of Shawarma not enough. very very little quantity of salad kost alot. Service is very bad uncivilized and barbaric. This restaurant is in a place that is rarely visited by easterns. So it is not easy to be evaluated as bad restaurant by westerns. Therefore they have alot of customers. Frech freis is catastrofic. It is also mixed with pickles. You can see Pickles everywhere in all the dishes. They use it everywhere just to make the dishes seem full. They don't care if you have allergies against it. Their food cost them nothing and at the end you pay alot of money for nothing, inorder to go home or to another restaurant to eat again inorder to be in a good mood. And they don't take money by card. You must have cash!!!!!!!!! The place is crowded we sat glued...
Read moreI visited Babel on May 17th with a friend, and it was an extraordinary experience! 🌟 As we say in Turkey, it was "top" – simply the best. Babel's oriental food truly stands out. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The vegetables 🥗, fries 🍟, and all the components of the dishes fit together perfectly.
We ordered a big plate and a small plate of shawarma 🥙, and both were exceptional. The shawarma was tender and flavorful, with perfectly seasoned meat that melted in your mouth. The accompanying sauces were delicious and complemented the dishes wonderfully. The hummus 🧆 was creamy and smooth, and the falafel had a perfect crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful interior.
The presentation of the food was also noteworthy – everything was arranged beautifully, making the meal not just tasty but visually appealing as well. The ambiance of the place added to the overall experience, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
If you're in Berlin and looking for amazing oriental food, I can only recommend Babel. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates high-quality and...

So sad because we only heard good stuff and were really looking forward to eat a falafel. We got into the restaurant and got seated. We were waiting for one friend to arrive so we got drinks and waited. The waiter came 5 times and asked us really rude if we could finally order, we said that our friend is arriving soon and that we want to order then. the waiter said that that is not possible and that we should leave the table because we are “blocking other costumers from coming”. So we wanted to order, because we didn’t want to leave and he was fine with it but when we wanted to order he said that the things that we want are only for take away, which it didn’t say on the card and when I wanted to order a soup he said :” only a soup? That’s not enough.”
Apparently in this restaurant you are only allowed to sit if you leave a lot of money in a short time, so no relaxing and eating in peace.
Really sad and absolutely awful behavior....
