If only the restaurant staff spends more time making and serving the food instead of going after bad reviews, this place could have been so much better. My friend chose this restaurant to celebrate her birthday, one of the nice occasions where our friends could gather altogether, only to be scolded off by the waitress for reserving two tables and go online to see them replying to every 1-star review with “you go to the restaurant not to enjoy your free time.” The attitude of the staff turned the mood sour for the rest of the night, but we did not dwell on it because they're workers and they have job to do. Right? Well, no. We came at 8pm and by 9:30pm, our orders were not taken. So, please explain to me, if we didn't come here to “waste our time”, why did we wait so long for the one thing we came to do? Fun is apparently banned in here. You eat and then you get out. I don’t know who came up with this idea for this place, because what else do they think people do when they decided to go out and pay for overpriced pizzas?
So no, I cannot recommend this restaurant mainly because of the horrible service in return for mediocre pizzas. I know the owner goes after people with bad reviews, so please just save your words. And for people that are looking for a place to eat without being insulted or told to go to a pub instead, save your money and go elsewhere. I promise it’s...
Read moreThe pizza is quite decent, very good for German standards. But the owner is unbelievably rude. I hope he affords this kind of behavior only with other Italians like me, because he would dishonor our country before any other country eyes. Just to make understand to the other customers the level of rudness: we were waiting long long time (with the poor pizzaiolo working like hell alone making pizzas and baking them) so I just asked politely with a smile to the pizzaiolo if we were due. Then the owner approached me and with a very bossy and serious face and said: "Please leave the pizzaiolo work and everybody stays put at his own place" (literal translation from italian, sorry about that). Unfortunately there are not many other napoletan pizzas choices around, so you might want still to spend your money here. His few competitors are: Montana, la...
Read moreThe food was nice, pricey but its Germany ok, but the reason for the two stars was the service. Our main course was taking too long to arrive, while we noticed that two other tables that sat after us were being served already (they were being served pizza). After repeatedly calling the waiter who seemed to be purposedly ignoring our table and after 50+ minutes, we tried calling one more time this time to ask for the bill and get out without having a main. We then saw the pizzas coming towards our table...yes...our main was pizzas too but we were served long after other tables that came after us had been served the same type of main we had ordered. On a sidenote, while watching for how long the waiter was ignoring us calling him, we noticed he didn't even bother notifying the other waitress we needed something. This was all at the...
