My stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Hamburg was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the vibrant city of Hamburg. I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful touches, such as the spacious work desk and the complimentary Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay connected and productive during my stay.
One of the highlights of my visit was the delightful breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of the offerings were outstanding, with fresh fruits, delicious pastries, and a selection of hot dishes that catered to all tastes. The breakfast area was well-organized and inviting, creating a perfect start to each day.
The hotel's location is another major plus. Situated conveniently near public transportation, it was easy to access all the major attractions in Hamburg. Whether I wanted to explore the historic Speicherstadt, enjoy the vibrant nightlife, or simply stroll along the picturesque canals, everything was within reach.
What truly sets the Hampton by Hilton apart, however, is the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction, making me feel valued and appreciated throughout my stay.
In summary, my experience at the Hampton by Hilton in Hamburg was outstanding. The combination of modern comfort, excellent amenities, prime location, and superb service made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hamburg and look forward to returning...
Read moreThe rooms and service are what you would expect of this chain style hotel and if you were travelling on business and arriving by car or by taxi then this hotel would probably fulfil your needs. However if you are planning on having a city break and taking in the sights of the city on foot then its location is not very good. It is located 200 metres away from the Hamburg "drob inn", which is a drug centre that gives away free crack to junkies, located outside the drop in is a permanent encampment of crack heads that numbers some 2 - 300 people, that are there night and day like a herd of walking dead zombies making the whole train station area a sketchy place to walk through, be careful where you step as a lot of these unfortunate souls choose to defecate and urinate in the street. The hotel has no dining facilities so your only safe option is to eat in the Hyperion next door which is not a cheap or varied option, Or you can walk through the mainly unlit streets pass the beggars and crack heads and through the railway area until you arrive the other side into the restaurant area of the city. I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel for a walking city break to solo Women, Groups of women or Families. If you think the 300 strong crack head encampment is an exaggeration please google "hamburg drob inn" and read the headlines and look...
Read moreWe had a very unfortunate stay at this hotel. I wanna give cudos to the awesome staff tho!
We stayed two nights and the first night in the room 119 next to two huge and mega loud employee doors that were used every 10mins day and night. The employees let the doors SLAM so the whole room shakes and booms every. single. time. We woke up a million times during the night because of those doors. Also it’s on the 1st floor on the street side so you also hear everything from the street.
We complained in the morning and got moved to 108… the second loudest room in the whole building next to the gym. Unbeliavable loud banging and shaking when someone is running on the treadmill which is also 24/7 open. Very unfortunate situation and we complained AGAIN. This time even the receptionist was shook that how is it possible we got switched from one loud room to another so she finally moved us to a more quiet room.
The hotel is more of a business hotel clearly but these two rooms should be just warehouse or meeting rooms and not for staying the night.
The breakfast was awesome and the hotel is only ~10mins walking from the hbf so that was great. I would still not stay again due to...
