Restaurant Café Münzburg — Restaurant in Hamburg

Its a Small quaint restaurant, and the service felt very personal. The chef took our orders and also set the table for us, he was really nice and warm.

We ordered fish and currywurst. The fish was really good! Fresh, juicy and nicely seasoned with tomato sauce that was divine. Currywurst was good but the sauce was a little too sweet for my liking.

We wouldve preferred fried potatoes but the chef was a little busy so he swapped it with fries.

Atmosphere is super cosy, the chef lit a candle held in a wine bottle so it felt quite romantic and chill! Plus, having the chef talk to you, cook and bring you the food, felt like being fed...

One of the best experiences in Hamburg for food. Me and my friends were visiting and especially loved the hockey puck burger buns and the meat which was skinned from the cow. The fries had a dusting of Spice like no others. One of us ordered the Salami toasted sandwich, he was very satisfied after and did not eat again for the weekend....

Eigentlich war der Besuch "okay". Essen war in Ordnung, Bedienung freundlich. Bis zu dem Moment, als es ans bezahlen ging. Wir hatten telefonisch das Essen vorab bestellt, da wir nur eine kurze Pause hatten. Dafür hatten wir uns die Speisekarte auf der Homepage angesehen. Die günstigen Preise hatten uns überrascht und dafür war das Essen wirklich super. Nur standen auf der Rechnung am Ende ganz andere Preise. Spaghetti 11,00 € statt 6,00 €, Hamburger 11,00 € statt 7,50 €. Auf Nachfrage beim Chef wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass die Speisekarte auf der Homepage von vor 20 Jahren ist und er sie angeblich nicht ändern kann, das könne nur Google und dort hätte er mehrfach um Änderung gebeten. Auf die Frage, weshalb er uns am Telefon nicht auf die geänderten Preise hingewiesen hat, sagte er ziemlich unfreundlich, das wäre nicht seine Aufgabe, sondern wir hätten das erfragen müssen. Sehr schade. So geht man mit Gästen nicht um. Und die Ausrede war nicht zufriedenstellend. Wir werden nicht...
