I had a really nice customer experience, while preparing my trip and stay to Athens last year. The staff was very helpful and responded to my emails very quickly.
Unfortunately, from the moment that my trip had to be cancelled (due to the corona pandemic), the problems began. I have been trying to reach the staff via e-mail to organize the refund of my booking, but none of my e-mails has been answered till now. When I called for the first time in April, I was told to wait until May. When I called in May, I was again told to wait until June, when the hotels would re-open and the refund process could be initiated. When I called in June, I was told that the majority of the cancellations had been refunded, but apparently not mine. The staff searched for my reservation, asked me to send them my bank details and promised to initiate the refund as soon as possible.
This was ten days ago and still nothing has happened. Additionally, nobody is answering the phone right now, and I don't even think that it would make sense to write another e-mail, since I've never got a respond.
I was really planning to rebook my room as soon as the situation normalizes and traveling will be safe again. Unfortunately under these circumstances, Ederlezi doesn't give me any other option than not booking at their hotel again.
I would have loved to judge the hotel as a guest, now I can only judge it by the way it handles a crisis like this. I can fully understand the difficulties that hotels are going through at this moment, but this behaviour is just...
Read moreThis charming little boutique hotel exceeds expectations. I’m so glad I found and booked this hotel. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay for a city trip to Athens.|The room is spacious and beautifully furnished. We would have loved to take the bed home—it’s even more comfortable than ours! The shower is large with good water pressure and the temperature is just right. A quality hairdryer is provided. Nothing was missing. The windows are double-glazed, and when closed, you can hardly hear anything.|Every day, the minibar in the room is stocked with two small bottles of water and a welcome bottle of wine.|The room was verry clean!||Perfect for breakfast and brunch—delicious and right next door! €12 per person, including a coffee, tea, or fresh orange juice.||We were able to reach most places on foot. The location is perfect, with many dinner options within walking distance in the evening.|We felt safe with the key card, even though the reception is not staffed at night. It’s a lively neighborhood. However, we didn’t return to the hotel after 11:00 PM, as we didn’t feel as comfortable as two women. But until then, it was...
Read moreStop looking for a hotel if you have come across this! I highly recommend this place, the rooms were very comfortable, air conditioned & very clean. The biggest selling feature should be the location, not once did we have a need to take transit as it is extremely well located near most tourist attractions. The vibe it gives is absolutely unmatched, we booked Loxandra with the little patio and loved hanging out at night with a bottle of wine listening to the music. There is live music every night so do keep that in mind, but it did not bother us at all, it was done around midnight and the crowds begin to disperse right after. There are amenities All around you, it is hard to get lost as it is so well positioned, I will undoubtedly stay here when I return to Athens. Finally, the host was helpful, contacted me with details for a seamless check-in and we had the option to organize a direct ride as well which for us was convenient given the time of our arrival. If it’s available, do not think about it...
