Mediocre at best. Obviously lured by the high Google ratings and glitzy photos but essentially it’s a run of the mill brunch place with little in the way of USP. Fresh juices are perfectly good but this is Greece and no establishment should get this wrong given the quality of local produce. Eggs Benedict decent but nothing to shout from the hills about. My poached eggs were reasonable. Lovely runny rich yoke. Crumbs of feta providing the interest. Sourdough toast had great chew. My son just wanted toast and nothing else. This was not on the menu so it took some persuading to get the waitress to agree to serve a couple slices of toasted sourdough plain. Why? The restaurant was empty. And perhaps to spite us they charged 6euro for two slices of bread. Compare this to 12euro for a full brunch offering. Yes it’s only 6euro but it’s the principle for me. And the service overall was unfriendly and lacked welcome. A mediocre food offering will always be elevated by a front of house that wants to look after you and make you feel at home. This was not evident here.
Would I come back? Hell would have to freeze over first.
