First, the food.
I got the Strawberry Pancakes Lila. The pancakes were so fluffy, and fat. I never thought I'd say I wanted fat pancakes, because it tends to make them a bit more bready, but these were really good. They had a chocolate sauce, and a rose chocolate sauce smothered all over, and the sauce to pancake ratio was perfect. The strawberries and flowers were really only there for aesthetic purpose, because they didn't add much to the overall dish, flavour-wise.
My wife got the Acai bowl. She said it was really good, and she enjoyed it, but it wasn't an Acai bowl. She said it was more like a yoghurt, or just a flavoured dessert, but was still good.
I had a pink Capuccino Double. Aesthetically, it was awesome. I'm a manly man, and I still enjoyed it being pink and girly. She asked if I wanted it blue or purple as well. I said pink. The coffee itself was really good. Good strong blend, and the milk was nice and fatty.
Now for everything else.
What a cool place. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the coffee, everything was perfect.
We went early morning, after visiting the Acropolis, and there were only 2 other tables of people. While we were sitting there, though, the place packed out. The staff were instantly friendly, and comfortable with us just taking photos and videos while we ordered. They obviously know their purpose is to be for social media, and a lot of places here are the same. Social media is obviously a good tool for advertising across the world, and why would you stop your customers from advertising you for free? So you get a lot of people taking photos around you, as much as they feel uncomfortable, themselves being watched.
Cool place. Definitely a must go if you're here in Athens, and it's not to far of a walk from Acropolis or anywhere for...
Read moreWe came here with my friend since she's heard about the shop and wanted to try it out. I had difficulty breathing normally since the space that's filled with the plastic flowers is also filled with dust (and was extremely hot). I was dissapointed with the menu , it was HUGE , like we're talking whole book, with extremely difficult to read letters and the worst part of it was that they used A.I for it. Yes , the menu is filled with AI generated images , like a unicorn with 2 horns (which one of them is floating mid air) nightmare fuel tinkerbell with 4 fingers and weird eyes ect. Honestly why would you use AI for your business it shows cheapness! Like , there are so many artists available in Athens...Looking past that though the service wasn't good either since the woman was extremely impatient ( she came around 3 times in the span of 10 mins) and was agitated with us! (She was being aggressive and rolling her eyes) It's wasn't our fault that the menu is huge and difficult to read! Also there was this guy with a headset that wasn't very polite to his co-workers and made us feel uncomfortable. I got a crookie (croissant wrapped in cookie dough) and for it's price.. honestly wasn't worth it. It was burned on the edges and drowned in sauce + extremely difficult to cut through. Safe to say I won't be coming back ever again and definitely not...
Read moreI visited this restaurant after seeing it trending on TikTok, with lots of comments about how it was super cute, very Instagrammable, with floral decor and everything pink. And yes, the place is indeed visually stunning. However, that’s about the only positive thing I can say.
Music: An absolute disaster. Loud, repetitive, and honestly unbearable. It completely killed the atmosphere since you can’t even have a proper conversation without shouting.
Service: Another disappointment. It took 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order, and no one even acknowledged us when we walked in. The staff were far from friendly, which made the experience even worse.
Food: By far the worst part. We ordered an omelette, a Caesar salad, and eggs on toast. The “sauce” on the eggs was ketchup (seriously?), the Caesar salad had defrosted chicken that was barely edible, and the omelette was so dry it was practically a choking hazard. I’ve never eaten such a horrible omelette in my life. Everything was just terrible.
Even the coffee, which I thought might be a redeeming factor, was bad.
In summary, this is just an Instagram spot. If you’re only here for a picture and nothing else, maybe it’s worth it (barely). But for anything else—especially the food and service—avoid this place...
