Emerald Hotel Athens exceeded all our expectations and made our trip truly special. It’s a newly opened hotel with beautifully curated design, high-quality furnishings, and an exceptional attention to detail. The rooms have high ceilings, elegant decor, and a sense of quiet luxury that immediately makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and refreshed daily. It was fully equipped with everything we needed: a wardrobe, cozy sitting area, in-room safe, a Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules, free bottled water and snacks, and a minibar with additional drinks and treats available for purchase. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the bed was large, supportive yet comfortable – with soft sheets and outstanding memory foam pillows. The bathroom featured plush towels, a wonderful rainfall shower, constant hot water, and premium toiletries.

One of the highlights of our stay was the location: right in the center of Athens, within walking distance of every major neighborhood and historical attraction, yet just one street away from the main Ermou pedestrian zone – so we were close to everything, but still enjoyed peace and quiet in the room.

Breakfast is served at Yphes, the fantastic restaurant directly below the hotel. The breakfast menu is incredibly diverse, and every dish we tried was beautifully presented and delicious. As part of the hotel’s offering, each guest receives two different dishes from the menu plus coffee or fresh juice – a real treat every morning.

The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful – every request was met quickly and always with a smile.

Considering the quality of the hotel, the service, the fantastic location, and the included breakfast at Yphes – the value for money is simply outstanding.

Cozy, stylish and welcoming new gem in the city centre.

So detailed oriented, and I am sure that a lady had her part in design :-). Dental kit, makeup towel, soft linens, hollow fabric pillows, and Finally, a strong and (dare to say) professional hairdryer :-). And the smell in the rooms is so tender and discreet (Jo Malone).

Upon our arrival, we have been offered with a welcoming drink, which was a nice gesture.

Everyone, but everyone that we met in the hotel was so so so super polite and professional. So genuine.

In the break of exploration the city, I had a cocktail (amazing garden G&T) at the hotel’s bistro, watching the last episode of The White Lotus and just simply enjoying in the moment. Btw, bossa nova plays all the time.

So, for those who value small and simple things in life - don’t hesitate to visit this gem in Athens named Emerald. I know we will, again :-).

Bugüne kadar kaldığım en özel otellerden bir tanesi. Çok şık restore edilmiş yüksek tavanlı merkezi konumda tarihi bir bina. Dekorasyonda kullanılan malzemeler özenle seçilmiş. Aydınlatmalardan, mobilyalara, tekstil ürünlerinden, banyo ekipmanına kadar hiç bir üründe ucuza kaçılmamış. Çarşaf ve havlular kaliteli kumaşlardan kullanılmış. Yataklar geniş ve yastıklar kalın.

Misafirlere sunulan kişisel hijyen ürünlerine kadar en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüş. Diş fırçası, tıraş takımı, terlik, bornoz, ayakkabı fırçası, makyaj takımı vs. konaklamanız sırasında ihtiyacınız olan bütün ürünler sunuluyor.

Oteli muhteşem yapan özelliği ise çalışanları. Her birine tek tek teşekkürlerimizi sunmak istiyoruz. Hem otel hem de restoran kısmında hizmet veren personelin tamamı misafirperver ve güleryüzlü. Bütün ihtiyaçlarınıza kısa sürede cevap verebilmek için koşturuyorlar. Yeni açılan bu işletme umarız personelinin değerini bilir ve aynı standartlarda hizmet vermeye devam eder.

Otelde yalnızca dört adet standart oda ve bir adet teraslı süit oda olmak üzere toplam beş adet oda bulunuyor. Biz Gaia ve Meleti standart odalarında kaldık. Odalar müsait olduğu için sabah 9.00'da ücretsiz bir şekilde erken check-in yaptık. Çıkış günü de yarı gecelik ücret karşılığında 18.00'de geç check-out yaptık. Çıkışımızın ardından valizlerimizi de 21.00'e kadar bizim için sakladılar.

Konaklama sırasında misafirlerin rahatsız olabileceği yalnızca bir konu var. Oda kapılarından ses ve ışık giriyor. Kapıların seçiminde estetik kaygılar misafir konforunu sağlamanın önüne geçmiş. Özellikle Gaia oda kapısı yatağın baş bölüne denk geldiği ve ahşap merdivenin yanında olduğu için gece uykunuz koridordan gelen ışık ve gürültü sebebiyle bölünebilir. Oda tamamen karanlıkken kapının fotoğrafını yataktan çektim, yoruma ekledim. Kapının etrafından gelen ışık görünebilir.

Bütün değerlendirmeden sonra sektörün içinden bir gözle söyleyebilirim ki yalnızca beş odası olan bu işletmenin bu standartlarda sağlıklı bir şekilde devam edebilmesi için fiyatlarını arttırması gerekiyor. Sanıyorum ki işletme yeni olduğu için fiyatlar düşük tutulmuş. Bir süre sonra fiyatları yükselteceklerdir.
