Ugh. Don’t even! Rude staff. Stained, worn towels. Slippery and dangerous getting in and out of the bathtub/shower with a little tiled step. The refrigerator was locked and couldn’t be used. The safe didn’t work. (And they knew this, by the way. When other people questioned it, they were told nobody’s worked.) The ac barely worked, and we were hot, sweaty, and miserable. The waiter said we should have gotten there sooner. We went to the lobby reception desk and asked where we could get ice. They sent us to the bar. We went to the bar and asked for ice. She rolled her eyes—I kid you not—and told us to go the lobby. We told her the lobby sent us there. Unlikely, but...
Read moreI understand that the hotel’s qualities in Europe have much lower quality than in Spain, and that a 4* in Europe is like a 3 in Spain. I understand as well that a hotel that WAS a 4* 40 years ago if it’s not renovated from time to time it becomes old, but the there should be a government control to downgrade it. We’ve been to a 4* hotel in Athen and compared to this one is like 1 or even to starts less. Come on!!! There should’n Be allowed to keep the 4* when the standards are so low, so old, the breakfast so limited. I wonder what is a 3 or 2* or 1 hotel. unbelievable. ||Poor breakfast and the floor of the room hadn’t been...
