Overall probably the best hotel we stayed in on our trip, taking all things into account.|It was well situated just at the end of the main street in Olympia, but in a quiet location.|It was clean and the room spacious with a balcony and only about 200 metres from the Olympic archaeological site.|As mentioned in a side street at the end of the main street so all amenities were withing walking distance.|It had a small car park at the back, but I would imagine that there would also be plenty of free street parking available nearby.|The best thing about the hotel was the owner, he could not do enough to make your stay a pleasant experience, we did not have breakfast, but he brought us coffee in the morning to our room. As the hotel was not full on check out day he said check out when you want and leave the key behind the desk if he was out.|He gave us a great tip for a taverna a block of so off the main street which he said was where the locals ate, the Taverna Orestis.|We only spent one night in Olympia, I would suspect most people do as you can see all you need to in one day, so i would recommend this hotel for anyone...

The room was clean, the mattress very comfortable and the air conditioner worked very effectively (a huge plus for me given that I run hot all the time). Extra blankets were provided in the closet. The balcony was very sweet and a nice location for a evening drink. The only negatives I could think of were that the shower was a bit luke-warm and that we were not told about the complimentary breakfast.
Edit 5/24/18: My mistake. On review, I see that I booked for room only - no breakfast as stated by the hotel. So only negative remains the luke-warm shower which was only a very...
Read moreA very nice family-owned and operated hotel! Stayed here with my husband and 2 small kids. We booked the family room on the second floor - very spacious, has nice view of the city /old church.
The owners really went out of the way to make us feel welcome. We arrived very late, but the owner stayed up late, answered all of our questions, even brought us extra blankets and a cup of tea as requested. The next (early) morning he was already up to welcome hotel guests to breakfast (excellent breakfast as well). We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this...
