Portou House — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

We had an amazing stay at the Portou House for 3 nights in July 18-21. Georgia, our host was incredibly accommodating and kind. Our flight arrived in the morning and Georgia made sure that we were able to leave our luggage at the restaurant and even made sure the room was available as soon as possible so we can check in. We had the top floor with private access to the hot tub. My wife and I really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day; it was such a treat and a great value. The breakfast was at the company restaurant AlmyVita in the harbor and we were very impressed with the breakfast and the level of service of the staff there. We visited as tourists in the off-season and had a very pleasant stay. We booked the 3rd floor room with access to the private rooftop and jacuzzi. Georgia was available at all hours to answer questions about the accommodation, local area, parking recommendations, and any issues that arose. Situated in the heart of the Old Town, this location is perfect for anybody looking to experience Chania as the waterfront and main historical sites are all within walking distance. I was very pleased with my visit to Portou House. What caught my eye was the cleanliness and modern interior, which looked exactly as described on the website.

One of the greatest assets of Portou House is the sensational terrace with jacuzzi, which provided me with a wonderful relaxing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which only added to my enjoyment of my stay.
