Discovered this boutique hotel by chance and our lucky day! A genuine family business with a family home converted to 5 rooms for guests. A five minute walk from bus stop from airport and centre but quiet too. We were in the ground floor in a lovely spacious room modernised for accommodation. Good quality bed and airy room with facilities A/C, tea coffee machine etc. Breakfast is not provided but loads of places nearby for breakfast. We opted to get our own pastries and made coffee which we had in the lovely garden courtyard where we also enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. Read moreThis is really a boutique hotel experience. The hotel is a colourful old (but well-maintained) villa in the heart of the city centre but with a nice patio and beautiful garden. You can’t miss it, as it quite stands out from the bland inner-city architecture.||On arrival we we were greeted by the owner with a big smile and taken to a beautiful room with high ceilings and a large balcony. The room was cool (with AC) and could be divided into two with wooden doors. ||The location of the hotel is great. Central Parking is around the corner. Close to many bars, taverns, coffee places etc. ||We stayed for 2 days before moving on to further explore Crete....

The mattress is good. ||On the negative though:||- the standard room in the ground floor is a small cave, you have NO WINDOW, only a door that gives to the courtyard which is always open and thus you have to close.|This is fine as long as this is reflected in the price but clearly 90 euros are too expensive for this type of room. I am moving to another four star hotel 4 minutes from there where I will pay 70 euros, including breakfast and with windows. ||Conclusion: if you get a good price, it is worth, otherwise, find something else.|The street is VERY noisy, whatever room you have.
