We were lucky enough to find this place as we walked the city city. Our lunch was on our last day on the island and it was delicious! A simple place but the food was outstanding. A helpful paper tick sheet to choose your dishes. It Amy look unassuming but the food is a delight. We ate the ubiquitous Greek salad, amazing tomatoes , the. Crispy fried courgettes, this was my personal standout - I’ve tried many times to cook this back home , light, golden batter, wafer thin slices, I could have wolfed down the whole dish in a heartbeat! Alongside this were delicious stuffed peppers, fragrant rich and herbs as a filling and then a mixed grill for one, loads of different meats mad yummy chips!! Accompanied with two beers the meal was super filling; we had a takeaway box and intoned it on the plane home. So good to find a traditional place away from the tourist places on the main square. Authentic Greek food down very very well!! Rail and cake served at the end of the meal as well....

Loved this place! They were able to suggest gluten-free options for my friend (she was able to enjoy gluten-free saganaki). The server also gave a lot of good options for traditional foods when I asked. It is very hot right now and their many vegetable / salad options were, refreshing, flavorful, and nourishing. The most difficult part was selecting dishes. I ordered too much but am happy to take leftovers to the hotel! I was able to find Χορτα (on the English menu as "seasonal boiled greens"), which was a Greek dish that many people had recommended and it was quite good. My favorite was the eponymous Magos salad, with wild greens, sun dried tomatoes, apaki pork, graviera cheese, and pomegranate syrup - very flavorful. The staff was very nice and the service was excellent. They asked what language we would like the menu in (Greek, English, Spanish, or German). Highly recommend (and would not be surprised if we came...

We visited Heraklion for a few hours and after reading some reviews thought we would give this place a go. Well we were certain not disappointed. We ordered 2 large local beers a lemonade, a large bottle of water, 6 dishes including octopus. The entire bill came to 61.80 euros. When paying we also got a jug of raki and the nicest melt in the mouth brownies and ice cream complimentary. The service was great ordering was simple as you get a sheet to right how many of each thing you want then hand it over. The quality of the food is outstanding and as above the price is really cheap. The restaurant is just fine off a main square where the restaurants look like they would be more about drawing tourists. If you want quality food at a great price you would not be disappointed...

Amazing Greek cuisine restaurant in Heraklion. The atmosphere (especially outside) is heavenly. The stuff is very helpful. They give you the printed menu and you tick all the dishes you want to order. Loved everything that we ordered, especially fried Zucchinis, tasted like healthy chips. All in all would absolutely recommend.
