Infinity City Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Heraklion

Loved the staff, all so lovely and helpful. I am heavly pregnant and they made sure i was well kept and taken care of. My family and i had a horrible experience in our first accommodation before heading to this hotel, so this Boutique was an absolute treat. The rooms are small for a family, but great for a couple. They are simple and decorated with style. The bathroom is quite small, and for a pregnant women you need more room to shower, but it was also clean and still better than most showers in Crete.

The other negative was in the night it was quite hot and stuffy, the air conditioning unit did not work which was a hassle when trying to sleep so we would open the door, but it smelt of sewage. To be honest we could have just asked for them to fix it, but after all the real problems before this hotel i thought ita nothing compared to what we dealt with before in the other place we stayed in. So don't be taken back by the negative part.

Breakfast is included and was fabulous. It is simple but has your usual hot breakfast, or cereals. The waiters are lovely as well, and always smiling and happy to make you something if they can.

I was overall very happy with the Boutique and i recommend this place for sure. For comfort style and simplicity.

The hotel is located in the perfect area, the city centre is literally a few minutes walk away with a variety of shops, and restaurants. Carpark for you vehicle is also very close by at the Port, we paid £2.50 for 24hrs. So if you have a rental i recommend parking there, the closer one is much more expensive for 24hrs costing £15.00. The walk was about 8 mins away. The hotel will show you on a map where it is and help you with other info that is required.

Hotel is good in terms of location to nice restaurants, the port and a decent walk to various bus stops. There is a supermarket really close by as well.

The hotel itself, is average. So far we've had 3 different people at reception and each has provided a rather different experience. First was happy till we asked for a double bed room but still remained professional and friendly. The second was helpful when spoken too and the third was not very pleased with questions.

The room, average size, well kept and small but cute balcony with no view. Not unless you consider the building opposite a view😉. The bathroom is small but decent. There is a mini fridge with water and a TV that let's you sign in to Netflix if you like. There is an A/C in the room so that's nice. If you have any specifications I suggest mentioning it while booking regardless.

Breakfast is again, average but they do have a nice lady willing to cook you an egg depending on what you ask.

The location, you are by no means close to a beach so if you plan on hanging at a beach all day, reconsider the location. If you plan to go restaurant and bar hopping, definitely a good option.

Safety, this area and hotel feels really safe as we were out till about 1 if not later. We absolutely didn't feel like we should be stressing about safety...

Pros:

great receptionists, very helpful and really nice people

good breakfast, they even had some vegan and gluten-free options for me, also fresh fruit. They do ask about your diet preferences at check in, which is great! I also appreciated soy milk with 0 sugar.

they have books at the reception you could read/exchange

the rooms are nice and have everything important for a short stay

air con for heating can be used in the room in winter

good location, close to the ferry, bus station and city centre

very clean

good vegan toiletries in the rooms (shampoo, gel and hand wash without chemicals)

Cons:

in my room I could hear everything what other guests and cleaning ladies were doing in the rooms around me (talking, moving in bed, their air con, walking in the room, opening and closing the balcony, cleaning, moving chairs, really everything). Most people might be ok with that but I can hear very strong and it was bothering me, mostly in the morning and at night.
