PLASTELINA — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

We’ve been to Plastelina five days in a row. Usually for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The food what was served during the morning and noon was fantastic. So was the Service - it was an amazing experience and definitely one of the top spots in Heraklion. So good the food and service was in the noon, so bad was it in the evening - first we wondered how could people not give five stars to this place, but after making the mistake and coming here in the evening for cocktails and food, we understood why there are mixed experiences. The food tastes worse in the evening (different cook), the staff is inexperienced and doesn’t seem to care a lot about customers. We had actually a quite negative experience, sadly it was our last visit in our “final evening”. The cocktails were probably the worst cocktails we’ve ever drunk - the food was without love and passion (no comparison to the food in the morning!) Everything was very slow, unpersonal, unfriendly… Still: five days in a row visiting this place and having the greatest breakfast and lunch was an absolutely fantastic experience. So I’d love to address the owner: please take a closer look on your staff/personnel - I think this could be a huge factor in bettering your quality.

TL;DR: awesome spot in the morning/noon for lunch and breakfast, but quite a bad spot for cocktails and dinner. We will definitely come back when we will visit Heraklion again but we will check out who’s the cook and who’s...

We wanted to go inside they told us we can't because they are packed. 10 minutes later they just let in 6 strange guys that just came in . No respect to the customer. Double standards. It was 6 of us we just wanted to spend some money in and have fun as they have a reputation. As far as i can see I will not recommend this place to anyone. We are comming back to heraklion with larger group and we definatelly will not even try to go in again. One of the girl from the staff called my friend stupid and they were letting drunk guys go...

One of top choices in the heart of the city centre. Beautiful interior design. Excellent Coffee. Friendly staff. Delicious brunch. Healthy snacks and juices. Variety of choices for lunch and dinner.
