My friend and I stayed at Katerina’s place for a 3-day getaway in June. After going through many options, we chose her apartment — and it was the best decision we could have made. This is one of those rare cases where the host genuinely cares about the comfort of her guests, and that love and attention leave lasting memories of the whole trip.

The apartment is about a 15-minute walk from the town center and main bus station — a great location. Everything was perfect, but there was one special moment that truly touched my heart and made Katerina unforgettable.

First of all, it was incredibly convenient that she picked us up from the airport and also dropped us off at the end of our stay — such a kind gesture. But just as we were leaving the apartment, I realized I had lost one of my gold earrings somewhere inside the house. My friend and I searched everywhere, but we couldn’t find it. I casually mentioned it to Katerina, not expecting anything.

To my absolute surprise, she showed up with her mom and tried to open the drain in the shower to look for it. We didn’t find anything in the moment, so we left for the airport. But just 15 minutes later, Katerina messaged us saying that her mom had removed the sink pipe and found my gold earring there! She even offered to drive to the airport to bring it to me.

I was truly overwhelmed by their kindness, their sincerity, and how much they genuinely cared. 🥹 I will never forget it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Excellent experience from start to finish. This was a last minute 2 night booking based on good TripAdvisor reviews. You have to remember these are small self catering studios, not a big hotel, so don't expect big hotel facilities. However, if you want a clean functional room with an amazing view over Mykonos, this is the place to go. The rooms do come with towels, toiletries, daily cleaning as with a hotel. So really it is a bit of a combination. We had 2 nights in Mykonos, then travelled to Paros for 4 nights, then came back to Mykonos for 1 night. I had no hesitation in coming back to Germanos for that last night. On both occasions, the owner picked us up from the airport/port and dropped us at the airport/port when we left. We have stayed in big hotels for a few years and it was great to get a personal service like this, which big hotels don't give. Be aware that the big view comes with a small price in the way of a hill. The studio is on a hill on the edge of town and it is a 10 min easy walk down to town, but a more difficult walk back up the hill. At night we opted for a 5 Euro taxi back. The studios are on 2 tiers, Our first studio was on the top tier, the second was on the lower. The lower one was bigger and had a better view directly from the room. We spent 4 days in Germanos Studios. Everything was top noch at this place. Katerina is the sweetest. Free pick up and drop off by the airport. Free Beach & Shower Towels. The Studio has a small kitchen featuring everything to be able to prepare your breakfast at this amazing view. Mykonos center is a 5 Minute walk away (steep but not so bad). Free parking in front of the Studios if you want to rent a car/ATV/scooter etc. Katerina communicates and helps you via WhatsApp whenever you have a question. We had our flight at night so we were able to store our language in a room, got fresh towels and shower before the flight as well. Great value for money.
