Michalios Luxury Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We took a risk on something that just opened and sadly it did not pay off. There is no communication between the people you book with and the actual apartments so no one came to pick us up from the port. After walking almost 20 minutes with big backpacks in the blistering heat we arrived and instead of apologising and maybe offering us a bottle of water (they run a tavern next door) they just blamed the agency and asked us to pay. They didn’t even know how long we were staying for. Rooms are fine but extremely basic - not luxury AT ALL so the word luxury needs to be removed. The beds are also really uncomfortable and we were in pain after a few days sleeping in them. Water spills all over the floor when you shower so I ended up mopping myself everyday and there was no bin in the kitchen. They also told us there was a problem with the wifi due to the fires but there was no wifi the entire time we were there, there is wifi but no actual internet in the rooms at all. The lady who runs it also speaks no English at all and given their internet doesn’t work we couldn’t use google translate. Maybe in a year or so it will be better but right now, I cannot recommend...

Nettes Apartment, aber nicht so gut, wie auf der Homepage dargestellt. Bequeme Betten, sauber, schöner Blick auf das Meer und kurzer Weg in das Zentrum. Es gibt keinen Mülleimer, wir haben Tüten aus dem Supermarkt benutzt. Keine Überdachung auf dem Balkon, draußen frühstücken ist nicht möglich. Schade, dass dies nicht geändert wird.. andere Gäste haben schon im letzten Jahr darauf hingewiesen… Klimaanlage funktioniert super! Sehr leise und gut platziert. Es gibt wirklich gar keine Ablagen für Kleidung… es gibt in dem Grand Apartment eine Kleiderstange. Wir bewohnten das Apartment zu dritt, so dass wir Stühle und ein Bett als Ablage für unsere Kleidung benutzen konnten.Wenn man keine hohen Erwartungen hat, welche von der überzogenen Homepage geweckt werden, hat man aber durchaus eine gute Zeit in diesem ganz normalen Apartment, luxuriös ist es aber wirklich nicht. Die Organisation muss dringend verbessert werden.. auf Mails oder Anrufe wird nicht reagiert. Wir wurden nicht am Hafen abgeholt, standen länger dort in der Hitze, bis uns ein anderer Fahrer eines Hotels geholfen hat und die Besitzerin anrief. Diese kam irgendwann total genervt, stieg noch nicht mal aus dem Auto aus, motzte uns an, dass wir die Taschen in den Kofferraum packen sollen… vor dem Apartment stieg sie dann aus und war weg… Absprache für den Rücktransport zum Hafen war nicht möglich. Wir hatten uns darauf eingestellt, mit unserem Gepäck zu laufen, zufälligerweise war jemand an der Taverne nebenan, so dass wir doch gebracht werden konnten. Eigentlich ist es wirklich nett dort, aber die Versprechungen und Darstellung auf der Homepage völlig überzogen. Wenn man das weiß, ist alles ok dort. Würde es aber nicht...

La struttura si trova a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro sulla strada che porta alle prime spiagge che sono raggiungibili anch'esse a piedi. Composta da monolocali con angolo cottura attrezzato, ampi e puliti. Insomma, una bella stanza con un altrettanto bel terrazzino vivibile dal quale si ha una bella vista sul mare e sull'isola antistante. Il bagno è sufficientemente ampio e funzionale pur essendo l'ambiente meno, come dire, curato nella sua realizzazione. Molto gentile la titolare che ci ha accompagnati in macchina con le valige a/r dal porto. La taverna adiacente da' la possibilità di consumare un ottima cena a pochi passi da casa.
