We had a problem with one kids passport and everything happened so fast.||On Friday we got it and i contacted Kostas, the hotel owner.||We agreed on all the marks in a minutes and after 1,5 days we were there.||Hotel is on the best location in Kallithea, near the main road and above the best beach i have seen in my life.||It is clean and have beautiful kids playground.||Kostas is a great host and whatever he can he will do to help you.||I am not sure if he ever sleep but whenever you need him believe me, he will be there.||||I had a personal health problem as i got an ear infection.||Seems that beautiful beach means many people coming for the weekend and making it dirty.||But that did not spoiled our vacation.||Our kids (3 and 5) finally swim a lot which was a lot different than Paralia the year before when they did not wanted even to enter the water.||Beach bar is great and the girl who was leading it (and she works from 7 to 22) was always there to give us the best chairs she can.||||Someone would mind that Adonis is 150m up the hill but you are walking through the forest.||It is even good for a condition.||I think it is better to have hotel above the beach because everything else is close and reachable in the minutes - bakeries, stores, cafes, etc.||||Once more, thanks Kostas for everything, i hope we will come back again.||I also hope that Greece will come out from the crisis (which we did not felt at all) as you are great hosts where ever i...
Read moreI booked the room on booking.com requesting late arrival and a week prior to our arrival I got a message saying the hotel could not accommodate my request !!! I had to call several times ( international call Canada-Greece) and talk to the manager to make sure we would have a room to spend the night.||The room was very small, no space to walk around, one person had to sit on the bed for the other to get ready, the beds quite small and uncomfortable, pillows, mattresses, towels old , the bathroom tiny and the kitchenette barely had any utensils !!! There was a nice balcony but no privacy !!! The people across and next to us were in our face !!! And the room faced the east which meant that without an awning it was impossible to sit there during the day !!!||They only provided toiletries every second day which wasn't enough !!! They came to clean our room on the second day while we were sleeping...they woke us up several times that day, only to tell us that they can't wait till we go, therefore they will clean the room on the 4th day !!!! ||We stayed for a week and on the last night night when we went to pay they claimed their bank machine (POS) was out of order and we had to pay cash !!!! The owner was not the friendly type at all and didn't want to cooperate....disappointing...
Read moreAdonis hotel was absolutely perfect! We were in santorini for three days and decided to book a place in kamari to be more economical. This place exceeded our expectations. Maria and Stellios were perfect. Their hospitality and kindness was unmatched. We loved them and felt at home at their hotel. A beautiful Greek experience. The hotel is set off on a quiet, quaint, beautiful street in kamari overlooking the mountains. We had our breakfast every morning on our terrace looking at the mountains. In less than a 5 minute walk you reach the main strip of kamari. With over 50 restaurants to chose from, the beach, and shops. There's several car rentals, scooters, restaurants, bank, and supermarkets all within a 2-5 min walk from the place. It's a perfect kamari location - bc at the hotel you feel like you're away from it all on a quiet mountain but then within a few minute walk you're in the busy area. The place was simple and the cleanliness immaculate. If you would like to use santorini's bus for transportation - one of the kamari bus stops is right across the street. So perfect! Just a 15 min ride to fira and 20 minutes from there to oia. If we are ever in santorini again - this is where...
