Incredible service and food!! Absolute must!! My partner and I went here as a recommendation from our AirBnb host. We were immediately welcomed by the server and were left to look at the menu. A few moments later she came back, gave us recommendations on food and wine and then let slip that her mother is the chef and her husband also helps serve there. We love family oriented people and businesses and it was refreshing to see a tight knit family working so hard at something you can tell they love. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees and were surprised with a few extra appetizers of Greek cuisine on the house. Both my partner and I have never been big fans of Greek food but we’re willing to try the recommendations. It was out of this freaking world!!!!! So dang good and authentic. You could tell that everything was fresh and well thought out. If we had more time in Kamari we would have gone back every night of our holiday. They also have homemade Greek yogurt that was better anything I’ve ever tasted. The server really made you feel welcomed and a part of the family (sorry i forgot her name). I even gave her a big hug at the end because we were so pleased!!...
Read moreWe were AMAZED with the food. We were really hungry, it was about 4pm and they received us and ended completely full and satisfied. The tomato balls were really good, the best we have tried, it's obvious they have been doing it for generations. The greek salad was nice and fresh as well as the other starters (we ordered an offer they had). After that, we had the fish mix 1 and everything was deelicious, fresh and big octopus, a pretty nice grilled squid, the fish was perfectly cooked, soft and juicy and the fried potatoes were at other level. Finally, the desserts were handmade and fantastic we haven't tried a greek yoghurt like that, and it comes with sweet carrot and a syrup. Finally, the waitress, who was the owner, brought us a homenade liquor with raki, cinnamon and 9 more herbs that was called "Rakomelo", just like the name of the restaurant wich was reeaaally soft, good-smelling and tasty, so we ordered another one ;). The service was exquisite and we had a really nice talk with the owner. Furthermore, the price was very adjusted (less than 45 with 3 drinks) COMPLETELY...

I stayed in a small hotel right around the corner so I regularly walked by "Koutouki The Rakomelo". On the first two evenings I was handed business cards from the staff and we had some friendly small talk. So on the third evening I politely refused to take more business cards (What's the point of this anyway?) and told them that I already had received two business cards. Somehow they took this the wrong way and started insulting my wife and me. And everytime we walked by (which was like twice a day) they started instigating. Imagine that: a man that could easily be my father's age (55-60 years old) mumbling Greek insults under his breath everytime you pass by, because you didn't want to take business cards for the third, fourth and fifth time. Just ridiculous...
So to everybody looking for a nice restaurant my advice is: Go down to the beach, spend 3 - 5 € more and enjoy the beautiful view and the sea breeze. This is much nicer than sitting in...
