My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon from 16th June for 5 nights. The hotel is a really short walk to Kamari beach where there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. ||When we arrived Nikolaos gave us a very warm welcome and we were greeted with a drink each. The hotel is really modern, clean and definitely has a boutique feel. It is decorated very stylishly and simply. Everything about the hotel is great quality, the furniture, decoration, even down to the doors on the rooms, you can tell the family have really invested in the hotel and it has paid off.||We stayed in a “charm” room which was more than enough for us, very spacious with a double and single bed, double sinks, a large shower with all the toiletries you would need. We had a balcony with a Mountain View, which had a table, chairs, and two lounger chairs. The aircon in the rooms is also great. Cleaners did a great job and all toiletries were restocked and towels replaced every day. ||The breakfast is plentiful and was enough to choose from for us every day. The pool area is small but it is no more than what you would expect from a boutique hotel. We never had any issues getting a sun lounger each morning. The hotel also provide towels for the loungers. ||Everyone we came across working in the hotel was friendly and couldn’t do enough for us especially Nikolaos. When we left we were able to use some showers which we were grateful for as we had checked out at 11am our flight was at 6pm. When we went down the stairs in reception to use the showers, there was a large air conditioned room with showers, toilets, a table and chairs and lots of toys and games for children / families to use.||Nikolaos organised a taxi for us and wished us both well, we were genuinely really saddened to leave. We loved our stay at this hotel and experienced service this genuine for a long time. You can really tell the family are grateful to their guests for choosing their hotel.||We wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again and plan to come back in the future. Thank ...

Read moreWe haven't stopped talking about the Aegean Gem since we left on Saturday. A truly fantastic hotel. Firstly the location, very close to the restaurants of Kamari but far enough out of the way in a very peaceful area. Secondly, the hotel itself. Great rooms, quite large with good facilities and kept spotlessly clean. Quite a lot of thought has gone into planning these rooms, very modern and exactly the kind we like. Thirdly, the breakfasts were extremely good. Loads of choice of high quality products. We probably spent too much time chilling on the upstairs terrace and then retiring downstairs to finish off with some cake and a coffee. The scales back home will agree that I enjoyed my breakfast, oops. But, a big but, the best part of our stay was to be hosted by such fantastic people. Maria and Nicolas, you are doing such a great job, we will struggle to find hosts as good. Therefore we may have to come back. The hard work you put, your helpfulness and friendliness in is a genuine reflection of you as a family. Do not change. Sarah is missing her Greek lessons from Yiayia and I'm missing my 5 o'clock Mamos. Thank you for looking after us, we had a great...
