Narkissos Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone deciding to travel to Santorini...

The hotel is located in a prime location, right next to the Kamari Beach and a bus stop to Thira with plenty of resturants; ATMS and shops. The hotel may not have the facilities of your typical 5 star resorts - however this is a GEM that is a treasure, and what makes this place special is the amazing people that work here: Alexandra & Olek - these two people (as well as our cleaners) made our stay one of the most amazing. Rarely do I ever want to return to places that I have already visited, however this is the only exception in which I will, and I will only book this place.

Alexandra especially was always helpful and most imporantly treated us like family - every morning or evening it was a pleasure spending time with the staff, and they gave us all the tips for the island (even managed to sort out our transfers for a much cheaper price) I can highly recommend getting to know these amazing people as I have stayed in many places in my travels but this I will always hold deeply to my heart.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was perfect for two to be in - on top of this they always make sure the room is in top condition for you the next day to come back to. There is so much to see and do in santorini and without their help we have never of known.

A huge, huge thank you for Olek and Alexandra for being amazing, wonderful, considerate and friendly people. I know we will cross paths soon.

Once again: I cannot stress enough how home-like this hotel feels - the people make this place worth every moment of our holiday.

This hotel has been my favorite in my trip to Greece so far. Before I even arrived Oleg helped me arrange transport services so that I can get to the hotel from the airport. Once I arrived he was super helpful, nice and informative. He explained to me how the bus system works, where everything was around the city and where I could hire a car/motorcycle/quad to explore the city if I chose to rent a vehicle. Check-in was super easy. During my stay I chose to go on a day trip and the hotel helped me book the tour for the next day. They even wanted to make sure I had good weather so that I could see the sunset. I thought it was also very kind that Oleg the day after my tour asked me how it went. Unfortunately I did not ask for their names but there were two ladies during my stay who were also very helpful and nice. The youngest was the one who cooked and answered all the questions I had. Their food prices and food is REALLY affordable and it’s good too. I don’t think there was a single thing about this trip and hotel that I did not like because they it that much better. Having visited a couple other cities in Thera I can also say that Kamari was my favorite as I felt like it was more out in the open to nature and the beach but you still have restaurants and places to not get bored. Excellent location, good value for money. The two-star hotel is situated just a few meters from the beautiful beach. In close proximity there is a car rental, restaurants, a supermarket, and a bus stop.

The family that runs this hotel is so lovely and welcoming. Each morning they prepared a delicious continental breakfast of ham, cheese, eggs, fresh veggies, breads, yogurt, coffee, ..etc. Staff speak English, Russian, Greek and I also heard several German words.

The rooms are clean and nice, enough to relax before excursions around the island. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, safe, hairdryer and have good WiFi coverage. Towels and bedsheets are changed every three days.

The hotel's restaurant offers affordable tasty food and various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We have tried a lot of cocktails, they do them very honestly, we recommend Long Island Iced Tea :-)

Ideal hotel for people who have come to discover the beauties of Santorini and not for people who want to spend their entire holiday at the hotel's swimming pool (Narkissoss has no pool).
