Eolia Luxury Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We originally booked two villas - senior and superior for our family of 19 people in 2020. We paid a deposit that was non refundable but had to cancel for 2020 and again in 2021. The staff were accommodating with the rebooking while honouring the deposits paid. We had no issues with receiving prompt replies to any questions or assistance over the past two years. ||||I cannot say enough about the guest services manager Maya - what a perfect person, who is well suited to the role of making your holiday great!! I am truly at a loss for words in how she really made life easier for us, was very attentive and available.||||The villas were beautiful and perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for everyone and bathrooms to accommodate our group size of 16 people. There were multiple kitchens with high end appliances and full stocked with everything you would need. When we arrived, each villa was provided with fruit and a bottle of white wine and great coffee- very nice touch! ||||There were two pools with an outdoor wall between the villas and both have great views looking out on the Mediterranean. The Senior villa had a smaller pool that received more of the early morning sun and the Superior was larger, warmer and received more the afternoon sun. There is only one room in the Superior villa that has an ensuite bathroom. Each room had its own benefits and everyone was happy with their chosen room. It did not matter to us as much regarding the ensuite, as many of the areas were private enough bathroom spaces. The sunrise views are outstanding from the villa and worth getting up early to see. ||||The villa itself is more isolated from major shopping but it was not an issue for us and we enjoyed the privacy of the area. Also, Maya booked us transfers to Fira and Oia for a reasonable price. She also arranged for us to head to the store after our transfer from the airport. It was also easy to communicate with her through our stay using whatsApp. In the villa there is also a delivery menu with enough options for our group to order in. This was an added bonus, as we were not keen on cooking too much while enjoying our experience there. ||||Some in our group did walk to Kamari beach that was about an hour round trip. There are more restaurants and sea swims, if you want to walk or arrange for a taxi service.||||There is also a charming restaurant within walking distance - Metaxis Mas with good food that Maya had recommended and reserved for us.||||We all walked away from our time at the villas feeling grateful for the stay and it is truly a highlight for us all. It was pure luxury and everyone was treated special. It is well worth the price to stay here and you will not be disappointed. We will be talking about our fabulous time there with our family...

Our group of four couples (eight people total) had the most incredible stay at Eolia Senior Villa in Santorini — it truly felt like a home away from home, but with five-star service and breathtaking views.||From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. We were picked up at the airport by Alessandro, who was the absolute sweetest! His enthusiasm, warmth, and flexibility made a huge difference throughout our trip. He not only welcomed us but also personally drove us around the island several times. Every time he arrived to pick us up, it genuinely felt like seeing a friend.||When we got to the villa, we were greeted by Markos, who was so welcoming and kind. He gave us a thorough tour of the stunning property, which was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious. The highlight of the villa was undoubtedly the back patio and pool area — perched on a hill with spectacular, panoramic views that made every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. Each bedroom was comfortable, well-stocked, and provided plenty of privacy for our group.||One of the most memorable evenings was when we hired a private chef to cook for us at the villa. Dining al fresco at the large outdoor table with the gorgeous view as our backdrop was simply magical.||The villa is set in a peaceful, quiet area away from the busier towns, which we loved. Transportation was necessary to get around, but that added to the tranquility and made us feel like we were in our own private oasis.||Throughout our stay, Markos went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was always just a message or call away, helping us arrange tours, secure transportation, make excellent dinner reservations, and offering fantastic local recommendations. His support was invaluable — he truly made our Santorini experience unforgettable.||We also want to give a special thank you to Jordan, who was equally helpful and welcoming during our time there.||Our trip to Santorini would not have been the same without the incredible care and kindness of Markos, Alessandro, and Jordan. Just returned after a week with the girls at the Superior villa and had the most amazing stay in Santorini. The villa is stunning with high quality decor and furniture, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, we could not have wished for anything more. It was so peaceful and a lovely retreat after busy days out on the island.||||Maya was so friendly and helpful right from the start - from providing information before arrival to being on hand checking in daily to see if there was anything we needed. She is available for absolutely anything - advice on the island, shops, restaurant booking, trips and more. I would highly recommend booking the massages at the villa, they were the best ever and worth every penny.||||Transfers to and from the airport were included so there was no problem finding the villa and we had a very warm welcome from Maya who was waiting for us on arrival to make sure we were happy with everything. ||||The villa is away from all the hustle and bustle but only a few minutes drive to Pyrgos village which has some lovely bars and restaurants. One of the island's best restaurants Metaxi Mas is just a 5 minute walk, just make sure you book in advance as it is always busy. As well as the main tourist spots on the North of the island, we would also recommend Kamari about 10-15 minute drive, it was beautiful and the food and cocktails at Alismari restaurant on the beachfront were amazing, definitely worth a visit.||||The cleaning ladies were super friendly and helpful and worked around us to suit, special thanks to Georgia for her kindness during our stay.||||I would have no hesitation in recommending these villas if you are looking for a peaceful stay and I will be looking to book a return...
