Very nice small hotel, family run business. Staff is very friendly and polite. Lia and Jacob were always trying to please us during our stay. Very good breakfast where you can also order from a menu. Room was ver clean and bed were comfy. Air conditioning in fully working order. Nice view to the Caldera Volcano and sea from our balcony. Good location, 5-10 min walking from the centre of Fira. There is no swimming pool and it can be a deal breaker for some people but it is better to enjoy Santorini's beaches. There is a main road in front of the hotel but the room has double glazing and is very quiet. The only thing I can say about the room is that the curtains could block the sunlight a little better but who is going to stay in bed while in Santorini! If you are visiting the island I would strongly suggest you to hire a car because the taxis have not meter and the driver just charge whatever they want and it is very expensive. Buses are cheap and go almost everywhere on the island but it is packed and will be squeezed like a sardine tin and the drivers and ticket collectors are the ruddest people I have ever encountered during my travels so far. There is a car parking beside the hotel. Overall, the hotel...
Read moreJacob and Lia who run this small hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made us breakfast to order every morning and always had a smile. Our only disappointment was the bathroom… it was very small and the shower particularly tiny so enquire as I do think there are larger ones according to pictures online. Our room was immaculate and had a balcony where you could see the sun rise in the morning. Towels, toiletries, slippers and fridge and safe in room. Out front we could sit with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The hotel has only 8 rooms. So was lovely and quiet. Only saw people at breakfast. The location of the hotel was a one minute walk to a supermarket, a two minute walk to the bus station where buses could take you all over the island and a five minute walk to all restaurants and shops. Couldn’t have been a better location. A pool and bar area are being added for next year and this will make this small hotel perfect. Reception was from 7.30-5 but Jacob and Lia were on call if you needed them. A different type of stay for us but very enjoyable and that was down to Jacob and Lia making us feel...
Read moreIt gives me a great pleasure to share of how lucky I was to choose the Nemesis hotel for my stay in Santorini.
Lia and Jacob, the hosts, provided me with the exceptional customer service - always smiling and willing to help and provide the advice on travel around the island, visiting the most iconic places and recommendations for dining etc. Huge thank you to Lia and Jacob for making my stay so enjoyable.
The location of the hotel was just perfect - a walking distance from the centre of Thira, the bus station (that is super helpful if you plan to travel around the island) and supermarket. Also you have an amazing view from the balcony so you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and the Thira - Oia hike starts nearby. The hosts will be able to assist you with pre-booking the taxi transfer from the airport.
I enjoyed the breakfast and my room which was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities I needed.
I recommend this hotel and I would not hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to this...
