We were at Bechamel last night for my birthday and the food was absolutely superb. The aubergine salad served with the bread was a very tasty starter to what was to come. Vasiliki, the owner and chef really knows how to cook. Everything she brought to the table was delicious and amongst the best food we tasted in Santorini and I have been here 12 years!! The potato chips are amazing, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The gavromarinatos was so tasty, served with garlic and chili - I could have eaten another portion just on my own. Then the shrimp saganaki - wow wow wow!! The shrimps deliciously tender served in an amazing tomato, pepper and feta sauce - the best I have ever tasted. We also had to feta hotpot (Burjundi I think it was called) - just dip in some bread and it's fingerlicking good. Finally we had the sea bass ravioli served in a beautiful sauce.
