Visited this location with my friends in the middle of July to get a quick bite to eat for lunch. Although the food was good, our experience was horrible and I would avoid eating here.

We were quickly seated at a nice table outside, provided with menus, and ordered our meals. I ordered a pork gyros and fanta to drink for myself while a friend and I split a tabouleh salad. While waiting on our food we were given what we thought was complimentary bread. When it came down to pay for our meals, we could only pay for everything in one bill, which we were fine with as we planned on splitting it between ourselves later. Another friend put her card down and when she checked the receipt, we noticed an extra 4€ charge for something we did not order. According to the waitstaff, we were charged a « city tax » which was what the bread was for. We also noticed that no other table was given this bread either and it was just our group. We argued with the staff as we had never been charged an extra tax at any other establishment and did not order the bread. However, they were dismissive, rude, and proceeded to laugh at us while speaking Greek (which we didn’t understand). We ended up having to just accept the charge and walk out. It’s not about the amount, as 4€ is only 0.67 cents per person, but the principle of the charge and the fact that the waitstaff took advantage of a young group of girls. This whole experience left a poor taste in our mouths.

This establishment is not tourist friendly and I would highly recommend visiting any other establishment to get gyros in Fira. There are many other cheap places in the area with good food and even...

Terrible service I’ve been going to yogi’s a few times and never had this problem but today I went and got my food ate it and everything was fine until I had to pay I noticed there was a wrongful charge on my receipt and that I ordered a meal worth 8 euros and my total came to 9.50 euros and when I asked the waiter he told me that I had to pay to sit down and eat at the restaurant which is preposterous and I told him I haven’t been charged this before and he just ignored it and I did not even get a drink either so I know it couldn’t be that because I brought my own water and let the waiter know before hand and then he started giving me attitude when it is not even my fault they over charged me so I paid then left but definitely will not be coming back because this...

This place has good taste food but service sucks! Employees who works there very rude especially the girl at the register. They know we are tourist so like to take advantage. There is no sign says cash only. Even when we were dining in they didn’t say that they don’t take credit card. So when I went to pay at the register, she was like cash only & she had credit card machine front of her. She said we don’t take credit card & when I asked her why do have the machine, then she started to mumbling. Then she said it’s broken & not working, which was complete lie. When I went next day, guy at register said you can pay with CC & then I placed an order. Basically, when they see tourists, they like to...

In saying that the gyros and souvlaki in Yogis is the best on the island is not an exaggeration. Firstly, there are two places, one here on the main street out of town and the other on the main square. We sat and eat in the main street once and got a takeaway another day and tbh I would have kept coming, the food is delicious and so cheap. The owner is very friendly and when we sat an ordered he gave us extras with dipping sauces pita etc. Up on the square it's more takeaway, but equally as good and such a delicious welcome after been out enjoying the fira nightlife. Yogis is a "must have" if in Fira.
