Great location at one end of the huge beach, but no longer does food (some web sites say it does) and the pots and pans were both limited and in a bad way. But for a 2 star place, maybe that's OK. Plenty of eateries nearby. And, if this sort of stuff adds flavour to your cookie, beside both the original site of St. Irene's chapel that gave the island its modern name and, if you fancy a 45 minute walk up the adjacent hill (no toilet at the top), near the ancient Greek/Roman town of Thera originally inhabited after the eruption that gave it its ancient name. Location on Google maps is wrong - nightmare if you're arriving late after a long journey - look for MMStudios, not Maria...

A great little hotel , our room was fresh and clean with a large balcony overlooking the pool area and with a great view of the village , church and sea. It was a good size and well equipped. The host was excellent with responsive communication and a very helpful attitude. A welcome bottle of water was waiting in the fridge. It was a five minute walk to the village , bus station, restaurants and the sea. If you have a car, parking is easy. Tip - if you can request room 11 for the best...
