Olympic Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I stayed here in 2017 and still think about this place as the highlight of an entire trip to Greece that included other islands besides Santorini, and Athens. This place is impeccably clean and the staff is just unmatched. If you can go here, DO IT!

My boyfriend&I were coming here from Parissa Beach and our bus broke down…long story short, we didn’t end up getting to this hotel until about 3 hours after the scheduled check in…we were so embarrassed and already brainstorming what we would do if the hotel was closed for check-in when we arrived. The one family staff member (the handsome young man) was waiting for us, and checked us in promptly when we got there. No extra fees, no questions asked. I’ll never forget it, and wish I could’ve reciprocated his top class hospitality in a big way.

I slept the best at this place than I did anywhere else on my entire trip. It feels so cozy and safe. If I ever get lucky enough in my life to go back to Greece, I will not go without staying here again!

In addition, the foliage is just beautiful, front pool has an awe-inspiring view, and walk from here into the main part of Oia is a stunning maybe…five minutes, max. Hope this hotel does well...

We had a fantastic stay at Olympic Villas. |We stayed in a Traditional Cave House with Caldera View - it was fabulous! The view is just incredible, we were both taken aback when we arrived that we had our own little piece of heaven on the Oia cliff line. The room was spacious, a very functional space for two people with everything you need to cook a basic meal in your villa. ||The facilities are excellent. There are two swimming pools, one with the beautiful caldera view along the hiking trail to Fira, the other to the front of the complex (no view). There were plenty of sun lounges and a day room in case your connection is later in the afternoon/evening. ||Christina and Christos were both excellent hosts. They gave us a warm welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. Christina arranged a hire car for us at a great price which was inclusive of full insurance!
