We stayed here as a family and would definitely recommend it. It is very conveniently located with a bus stop right outside and is seconds away from the main tourist area of Oia. There is also a supermarket next door. The staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged us a taxi to and from the airport and a reasonably priced tour to the hot springs and volcano. They were also quick at responding to our email queries before we travelled. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone available to help and answer questions. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need and the kitchenette is very useful if you’re trying to keep costs down, allowing you to store and prepare your own food and drinks. We booked breakfast, which was very good value compared to what we saw on restaurant menus in the area, and you could order as much as you liked. The hairdryer was old fashioned so I would recommend packing your own because it took me a while to dry my hair. The food at the restaurant is great and good value compared to many places in Oia. The pool area is welcoming and relaxing, though the pool was very cold in May so we didn’t swim for long! Pool towels are supplied if needed. Well done to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. We...
Read moreVery sad to be leaving this absolutely wonderful hotel after a fantastic weeks stay. Location is perfect but then again pretty much everything about this hotel is! It's literally over the road from the stunning views of the Caldera and the start of the pathway through Oai, where you'll find a plethora of restaurants. We didn't have a bad meal in one but be prepared, they aren't cheap! Every single member of staff was lovely, couldn't be more helpful. On our last day we weren't flying until late at night so they found us a room to use for the day. We had room 221 for our stay. Definitely the best in the hotel! 15ft from the pool and stunning views from the back balcony. Has a mezzanine where the bed is so felt very romantic. Rooms are well equipped and kept spotless. This is a traditional hotel with traditional furniture etc and feels very Greek! Don't expect polished marble and chrome! It's much nicer!! There are loads of sunbeds around the pool. No need to reserve one with a towel! At most we saw about eight people around the pool. Breakfast is basic but adequate. We had an evening meal here one evening which was delicious. We would definitely stay here again and can't recommend...
Read moreThis is a villa in a very nice location. We got 2 twin beds with a kitchen and an outdoor patio. We ate in the kitchen, but did not cook nor used the patio. There’s a pool outside, but the water is drained. It’s freezing cold, so I won’t relish taking a dip in the water. There is an air conditioner which doubles as a heater. The bed is comfortable enough. ||I chose this villa because of its proximity to the spectacular ocean views. It didn’t disappoint. ||It’s the dead of winter. Hence, most stores are closed. The nearest supermarket is around the corner of the Panagia church. There are charming blue domed churches nearby and one can view the sunset on a clear day. We had cloudy days, but we still enjoyed the breathtaking views. workers are busy painting the stores around the area. I can smell the paint vapors all around.||Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend it. The owner, Evgenios even called a taxi to take us to the airport. Now, that’s...
