palmariva-villas — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Wow! I can not say enough good things about this hotel. The room was amazing. It had a nice kitchen, and two levels with a private hot tub on the balcony. The swimming pool was really nice, and the breakfast was delicious. We were able to choose what we wanted every morning and they brought it to our room. And everything was very clean, nicely decorated, and beautiful.

The location was pretty good. We were only about 5 minutes from the great views along the cliffside, and just a few minutes walking from hundreds of restaurants and shops. The hotel was also only 1 block from where the buses pick you up to take you to other towns on the island.

The staff was so extremely helpful and friendly. We had a minor medical problem, and they helped us find a nearby doctor and even called around to get us some help. Our ferry was also cancelled on the morning we were supposed to leave, and they helped us figure out how to deal with it. And they helped us to call the hotel at our next destination to let them know we would be late. It's like they treated us like family, always helping and making sure we were doing well.

Is there a downside? I'm not sure, maybe the location because it's not right on the cliff and doesn't have an epic view like other places. But it's also SOOO much cheaper, and you're just a 3 minute walk to the view.

Palmariva Villas!!! What can I say...lovely villa with amazing service, and the best and most hospitable staff! My daughter and I just returned from a week stay in Santorini. We had planned to change hotels mid visit, but Julia(we call her Amazing Julia) was so welcoming our 1st day and every other day that we decided to spend the whole 6 nights at Palmariva. Julia, Jenny, Apostolos, and all the rest of the staff were so nice, and always went over and above to ensure that we were comfortable. Regardless of what time of day you need something, they are always ready and willing with solutions and options. To top it all my daughter left behind her jewelry box with some expensive pieces. Julia tirelessly searched for a delivery company to return the jewelry box and another item back to us in HOUSTON Texas!!! The package was delivered this afternoon!!!Can you imagine!!! Palmariva villas is our forever place to stay now in Fira, Santorini. And I am recommending it to all my friends and family whenever they visit Santorini. The rooms in all the villas are really nice, and we had our own hot tub jacuzzi on the top level of our villa. Breakfast was good and delivered exactly on time. We had a blast! We loved this place. Nice pool, comfortable split level apartment in nice location. Bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning in living and sleeping areas. We stayed a couple of days, we went to Oia by bus on the day we arrived and stayed for sunset which was lovely. The next day we stayed in Fira, the villa is great for exploring early and going back for breakfast at 10, they will leave it in you room for you. We spent some time around the pool which is cold and refreshing. There is a great restaurant a couple of doors to the right, Theoni’s which was also good. We booked a front row table at PKs cocktail bar too which was a short walk away and is really something special for the caldera sunset view and quality of cocktails.
