We discovered this fully vegan place on our first day on Santorin and promised to come back the next day to try their food. And we were not disappointed! Considering this was only their 3rd day after opening, we must say, the food was SO good and really a great place for all vegans traveling Santorin. The dishes were a bit pricier than vegan food in Athens, but we were amazed by how much work they put into the dishes. And the prices were much more reasonable than other vegan-friendly places on Santorini. The vegan mushroom Gyros was extremely delicious and the mushrooms were marinated for 24 hours. Potato wedges were homemade, cooked, coated in a nutritional yeast mixture and finally baked. I had the Buddha bowl, which is more of a breakfast dish but it was our first meal of the day and I've felt so bloated from all the processed vegan food we had the past days. So the Buddha bowl may not look the most promising (yet!!! Remember, 3rd day after opening), but let me tell you, the oatmeal was SO GOOD! It contained oats, banana, cocoa and coconut milk, and it was really delicious and filling. Imagine a few fresh berries, bananas, maybe some seeds and shredded coconut as toppings, and it would be PERFECT. And I felt so much better because their food contains mostly unprocessed ingredients! Finally, the staff and especially the owner were so sweet and friendly!! He took time to welcome and exchange some words with all guests and was just so nice to everyone. We can totally recommend this place, also for non-vegans! Some dishes change on a regular base as they are still experimenting a bit but be assured, whatever they recommend you, will taste absolutely delicious! Thanks a lot for having us!

There are many mixed feelings when writing this. We came to the restaurant because yesterday night (the owner) was EXTREMELY nice and very passionate about showing us his food… but we had already had dinner then.. but that didn’t stop us from trying it out the next day for lunch. Or expectations were drastically change when the waiter (a young guy) didn’t know anything about the vegan menu and he had a sort of I don’t care attitude and google it yourself if you don’t know what it means… we were really shocked that if a place is called “veganisimo” that the waiter tells you “i know nothing about the vegan menu” He had a very plane and sort of “I don’t care attitude” which ruined the whole experience for us. Food was good but unless this place works on their customer service (if not served by the owner) then it far from a 5 star rating. We even had to go straight to the owner and ask for the bill despite having asked for it already and being a good 10 minutes at the table with our plates empty and ready to be cleared… The owner afterwards wanted to get us ice cream but we were so dissatisfied with our experience that we just wanted to leave asap

The best vegan food I had in Greece! It was prepared with lots of love and passion, and was cooked and spiced to perfection. We received a complementary zucchini pie upon arrival, which was also delicious, and a nice piece of orange cake, it was fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed everything and will be back tomorrow. Edit: we went back 3 more times, i tried the vegan Moussaka, Saganaki, santorini salad and falafel souvlaki. The vegan Moussaka tasted good, but not even warm, it was kinda room temperature. Also the side salad was missing, which is shown on the picture of the menu. I asked the waiter and he kindly brought me some salad. The Santorini salad portion was huge, prepared fresh and enjoyable. The falafels were not the best, but I took it with me for my lunch on the ferry. The Saganaki was ok, I expected some more spice and seasoning, but it was just some grilled eggplant with cheese on it. Altogether, it was a survivor for me on the island, as there are not many vegan options, but there is definitely more improvement needed.

We adored Veganisimo so much that we ate ALL but one of our evening meals with them during our time in Santorini!

Firstly they are super practical, they have a separate vegan menu and a screen which shows all the meals so you can see what all the dishes look like before ordering.

The menu is quality and varied meaning that we could try something different everyday and still hadn’t tried everything on the menu. 6 different meals and we never had to order a vegan burger (not that we don’t love a vegan burger but it was lovely to have so much delicious variety) Fantastic traditional Greek food.

The service was excellent, super friendly and dining here was a really happy memory for our holiday because we were so well looked after.

For starters we tried the tomato balls, the zucchini balls and the saganaki eggplant dish and all were super tasty.

We loved the Greek salad which was delicious and fresh and came with a large piece of vegan feta which was the best we’ve had.

For mains we had Millefeuille, the moussaka, the carbonara, risotto and spaghetti basilico over the week we stayed in Santorini and loved each of the dishes. Great portion sized and lots of flavour.

The manager took time to speak with us each time we arrived and the staff were really helpful, fun and friendly.

I am writing this post a few weeks after my holiday and thinking about their food is making my stomach...
