Paul's Studio — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I really enjoyed my stay at Studio Paul's. First of all the location is quiet good. It is really close to the main road, where everything is located. The beach is also very close - maybe 7 minutes by foot. A small supermarket is right around the corner. The 24h bakery is just next to the building complex.||The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The apartment was cleaned everyday. We got fresh towels every time they cleaned the apartment.||All apartments had a small balcony, which was really nice especially for having breakfast in the sun.||The only remark I have was that the kitchen did not have an oven, only a hot plate. Rooms have a correct size, and located in a quite place, 100m away from the beach. This could be a nice place, but is not well taken after. The night lights on the wall were not working, lining and towels looked very old, the freezer was falling apart, and the general aspect was of decadence. Price doesn't help because this hotel is much more expensive than other better hotels we've had in other islands. But , you know, Santorini is an expensive island. The person in charge was friendly, but did not fulfil our requirements (one more blanket, one more chair). With a better management this could be a much...

We loved our stay. The owner, Mariya was very friendly and kind. The place is a very cute and the location was excellent!||||I only noticed one person who didn't score this place high review- it is very clear from the note person was looking for a a "child free" lodge:) ||the beach here is very nice, the sand is heavy volcanic, the tavernas....there is an excellent bakery one block to the right from this place- the Greek lady in her 70s or older bakes them all, everything was tasty, and hand made you can tell. nice...
