We arrived yesterday for a one stay before heading to Naxos. We booked this hotel due to being just a 5 minute walk from Thira. |Upon arrival we were given a very warm welcome and in-depth explanation of the island. |We were taken to our room which was beautiful. We booked the 2 bedroom family room which was perfect and had a large balcony overlooking the rear of the property. The room was very quiet and I had the best nights sleep in a long time. The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Shower lovely. Perfect for a family travelling with teenagers. |If you cross the road outside you will be looking right at the volcano itself. |Yes the hotel is on a busy road but this was expected as it’s the main road into Thira and we didn’t hear any noise whilst in our room and the pool is located at the rear of the property and has lovely gentle music playing so no noise heard there either . |There are 14 sunbeds around the pool and a few tables and chairs, the pool is refreshing and inviting and a decent size for a boutique hotel. Pool towels are provided. Drinks and snacks available round the pool at very reasonable prices.|The staff here are excellent, polite, professional and friendly and were very helpful. |Breakfast was lovely, topped up constantly, very fresh and all areas kept so very clean, There was the usual choices, yoghurt, cereals, fruit, breads, pastries, cakes, cheeses, meats, bacon, sausages, eggs, coffee and juices.|In my opinion this is a beautiful small boutique hotel in a perfect location. |If you are looking for a relaxing stay very close to the town and with fantastic facilities and service this hotel will suit you perfectly. |We look forward to returning in a weeks time for 2 further nights before we fly home. |Highly...
Read moreWe had a 6 day stay at this excellently run hotel last week and we couldn't have loved it any more. Email coversation prior to our departure for Santorini confirmed our free airport pick up and he was there with a clear sign, ready and waiting for us. Just a short 10min drive to the hotel. We were greeted by one of the 7 members of staff who clearly explained the hotel and it's facilities and how to get into town with a simple map. We were loaded up with information to overwhelm us but made to feel like we could go back or phone from the room with any questions if needed. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and gave it a real unique feel. The barman and pool attendee was a fantastic man who learnt our drinks orders quickly and presented snacks regularly. All the staff quickly cottoned onto our room number and names quickly so we always felt at home and didn't have to explain who we were if we needed something. The small details made a huger difference. The pool area itself is quiet and relaxed but had enough other guests to sit and chat to if you wanted. We were very impressed with the beautiful room, the condition of it, space and the views. It was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels and everything worked as described. Thomas who is on the main reception in the evenings are overnight was incredibly welcoming and we spent a good two hours in total over a few evenings just chatting to him before or after wandering down to Fira for dinner. He organised our airport transfer on our departure so we didn't have to book or think about anything. Hats off to a lovely hotel in a beautiful location with incredibly attentative staff. Can't...
Read moreAbsolutely adorable little boutique hotel very close to the centre of Fira.
The walk to centre of Fira is 10 min at a good pace and mostly flat, but it is on the main road with many cars. Some sections have paved sidewalk.
The front desk agent (didn't get his name) was extremely helpful and provided so much information about the island and around town.
Room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable, bathroom was large and towels smelled very nice 😀. We stayed in room 102 (suite with sea view, 1 double bed and one single sofa that is made into a bed), and included a little outdoor patio as well as a small inner patio.
There was no coffee maker in the room, but they did have a kettle with Nescafe, which is very popular here.
The pool area is lovely with lots of lounge chairs, as well as regular tables/chairs. Perfect for mid afternoon break from the sun. Reasonably priced drinks and oregano chips served as a little snack with them.
We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on it.
The hotel will book a shuttle to the airport or ferry port for a lower cost than a taxi or Uber and it was extremely comfortable, clean and had good air conditioning.
100% would...
