Have to give this place top marks, we initially questioned items on the menu from the most lovely waitress outside, I believe she spoke 5 languages and was able to answer questions on making items gluten free, she was so nice.
We ordered 2 main pasta dishes, 1 shrimp spaghetti, 1 gluten free pesto chicken penne and a cheese garlic bread, plus 2 wines each.. The food portions were very generous, there were hot and tasty, there were 9 large shrimp on the spaghetti and plenty of chicken in the penne. The garlic bread was fresh, hot and very tasty… plus the wine was very very good too €7 a glass.
The lovely waitress returned to the table a few times to check we were happy with our meals, afterwards she chatted to us and we enjoyed her conversation, definitely a credit to this Restuarant.
We received to complementary lemoncello liquors to end our meal which was greatly appreciated.
Highly recommend this place, at their price point too it’s definitely a gem in Zante town.
We did say to the lovely waitress that they should advertise that they’re able to accommodate gluten free guests on their Facebook page and socials as it’s not mentioned anywhere.
Thank you for a lovely meal, we will definitely...
Read moreWe were in the mood for pizza and had found Bello on the internet. A fairly new Italian joint on the waterfront of Zakynthos Town.
As for the design, from the outside it looks neat and good. They have done their best on the design of this place.
As for the staff they are nice and can speak reasonable English. A bit too often and quickly asked at the table if we knew what we wanted to order. Unfortunately, the lady who helped us could not really tell us anything about the dishes.
As for the food. This was somewhat mediocre. We both had a pizza, which incidentally looked very good. Unfortunately, the taste was a bit bland. We did get a tiramisu on the house which was sweet and incidentally a bit different than the average tiramisu. The pizza just really needs better taste.
Finally, the music. This is something I always pay attention to. There was a pretty funny mix of music. Some old 80s classics but also some Italian songs.
All in all a business with potential but make sure the food you make is good tasting because that's what...

If you love Italian flavors, you HAVE to try the tomato bruschetta here — hands down the best I’ve had in my entire life. Perfectly toasted bread, juicy tomatoes bursting with flavor, a drizzle of olive oil… each bite was a little piece of heaven.
We visited on a Wednesday night at 10:30 PM and the place was absolutely packed — always a good sign! Definitely make a reservation if you can.
For mains, I had the carbonara (rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced) while my wife went for the Alfredo — both were sensational. If you're a carbonara fan, this is your spot.
Yes, service was a little slow, but only because the team was juggling a full house. Honestly, it didn’t bother me at all because the staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely attentive — you can feel how much they care about their guests.
💖 I left with a happy heart and a full stomach. We’ll absolutely be back — and if you go, promise me you’ll order the...
