“Opa! And Arigato!”
If Poseidon opened a sushi bar with Zeus’s approval and Dionysus curated the wine list, you’d get this absolute gem on the Zakynthos harbour.
Picture this: nine friends, one long table, and just enough edamame to start a small green revolution. We came, we saw, we mispronounced carpaccio, and we conquered a menu that bravely married Greece and Japan in the most delicious cross-cultural culinary marriage since tzatziki met soy sauce.
We ordered everything. Edamame? Gone. Giant buttery beans? Vanished. Carpaccio? So thin it might’ve floated off the plate if we hadn’t eaten it first. The sushi? Oh my God, the sushi. It kept coming like a seafood-themed conga line — maki, nigiri, tempura rolls, even a spicy one that made one of us question their life choices (and then go in for seconds).
The staff? Angels. One of our friends had the gluten situation, and they handled it like pros — no fuss, no eye-rolls, just a smiling “we got you” and a safe, beautiful plate of food. Gluten-free and still full of joy — like Celiac Cinderella at the sushi ball.
The view? Ridiculous. Boats bobbing, sea twinkling, us pretending we were yacht owners while actually drinking house wine like it was 2015. (Which, by the way, was excellent. Either that or we were just that happy.)
Only reason it's not a perfect five stars? I woke up the next morning still thinking about the food... and they weren’t open for breakfast. Cruel.
Would I return? Yes. Would I bring nine friends again? Definitely. Would I bring eleven and pretend two of them are famous to see if we get extra edamame? Tempting.
TL;DR: Come for the view, stay for the sushi, and bring a crew. Opa meets omakase, and it’s...

During our stay in Zakynthos, we had the pleasure of dining at Manoo, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
The ambience is wonderful – cozy yet stylish, with a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for enjoying a meal with friends, family, or a romantic evening out. The lighting, music, and decor all come together beautifully.
Now let’s talk about the food – absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you're into traditional Greek dishes or more modern Mediterranean twists, there’s something for everyone on the menu.
What really made our experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain the dishes, offer great recommendations, and ensure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.
We left Manoo with full hearts and even fuller stomachs – and we can’t wait to come back! If you’re visiting Zakynthos, do yourself a favor and make sure this restaurant is on your list. You...

Let's start with the food me and my family were blown away by the quality of the food. So much that we ate here trice during our stay in zakynthos. I think you can order whatever you want here and you can be more than certain that it is gonna be delicious. They also have freshly gaught fishes each day for you to enjoy.
Now about the service... The servers in this restaurant are one of the friendliest servers i have ever met in any restaurant. In the 3 times we ate here we were served by Maria she gave us advise on what to pick and kept asking us if everything was good. Thank you Maria
The ambience was amazing the decor is beautifull outside and inside the restaurant. One thing wich isn't good is the amount of beggars that come by your table during your diner of course this isn't the restaurants fault.
Thank you so much manoo for all the lovely dinners...
