Sea Cat — Restaurant in Roatán

Right on the Beach of West Bay, sets a wonderful little restaurant, the Sea Cat. We walked around west bay looking for a place for dinner, and we called a couple that lives on the island, they suggested the Sea Cat the previous night. We took their word, and we are so glad we did, we were not disappointed. We were greeted by a gentleman that was cooking 🍕 pizza from a brick oven, and the hostess quickly took us to our table where we were greeted with a smile and a glass of water. Generous portions of excellent food and if you can be there for fish fry Friday, you can get a whole fried red snapper, which is simply marvelous. The tacos are great, and the drinks are very good. Ask for some extra habanero sauce to go with the tacos. It is really rich and spicy…guacamole is very good as well and they make very tasty strong cocktails there all day long and can customize them for you. The service can be a little bit erratic, but the great experience makes it worth the delays and occasional misses. They also have live music and so far, the musicians have been awesome. We stayed on the beach most of the day and expected a continuous service from the SeaCat employees as we kept a tab open with food and drinks steady, but that was not the case. Although, when we dined in, the service was great. Rianna, Kimberly, and Kioni were attentive without bothering, and ensured we had everything that was desired. The food tasted great and the wait times were not long. Only improvement is the service to those on the beach, as we were only approached when empty glasses and plates...
