For our third trip to Roatan, my spouse and I decided to rent The Meridian and take our adult children and grand-children for a few weeks. The villa is just breathtaking. The views are spectacular. The pool and the grounds are meticulously kept. There is beauty in everything. The owners are marvelous, they make sure that you feel at home. They provide all of the information you will need to make your trip and experience a memorable one. Fro the moment you arrive you are greeted by wonderful concierge's. The bell men bring your luggage to your villa while the concierge escorts you to paradise. We made beautiful lasting memories. We will definitely be back. The Kismet restaurant by the beach is just amazing. Afan helped us with two events. The sunsets are spectacular and the food is to die for. This was the best vacation we have ever had. I miss this place every day. ||||There is no real beach. It is very rocky but you can still access the water to go snorkeling. West Bay beach takes about 30 minutes to walk unless you are an athlete! The hills are very long, the heat doesn't permit you to go very fast. We walked it for the experience then took a cab. It cost about 2.00$ per person. Not worth the blood sweat and tears. ||||If you want the most memorable, quiet, beautiful and amazing visit in Roatan. You have to...

We travel as 8 couples. 2 of us did a recon one afternoon for beers, loved the location, little cove on the water. We ate there twice, 8 of us once and 4 later in the wk. EVERYONE was HAPPY! Staff ( Afon and Alex )were as great as the food & ambiance, small, maybe 40 seating, on the beach. Great alternative to the nice but ultimately sameness of west bay/west end, with the exception of "Lotus". Meridian is beautiful, QUIET and SO different from west end complexes...no vendors, no tour crowds., Would recommend food and drinks there 5 stars anytime. For a couple, or those wanting a quiet resort who do not want to have the snorkel/ swim beach walk options of west bay right there, it looked perfect. Not far from those activities but getting to and back from Meridian could be challenging....read steep hill up, down and of course back. We rode thanks to Meridian but as they get busier you should figure cab or car needed. There is still building going on but the place is beautiful and worth considering for a stay and absolutely for the restaurant. Gave 5 stars, but again, only had the pleasure of staff...
