An absolute joke of an experience. I came here last night and asked the bartender the price of a shot of Buchanan’s. She checked her system and told me $12—no problem. I got my shot, but when I closed my tab, the price had magically jumped to $35 per shot. When I asked her why the price had changed, she responded, “Sweetheart, you know this is the expensive bottle. This one doesn’t cost $12.” Wait, what? You told me it was $12, and now you’re acting like I should’ve known better? Her excuse? “Well, that’s what my system says, but you should know this shot isn’t $12.” That logic makes absolutely no sense. Not only was she trying to rip me off, but she doubled down and defended it with a smug attitude. It took me pressing her repeatedly just to get a manager involved—which she clearly didn’t want to do. When a supervisor finally came over, she suddenly couldn’t “find” the bottle she poured, even though it was clearly right there on the shelf. Thankfully, I got a refund. But the way the bartender handled the entire situation was shady, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Calling me “sweetheart” in a condescending tone just made it worse. Hopefully management takes this seriously, because nobody should be treated this way—especially not while being overcharged. HER NAME IS AISHA E

(+) Beautiful view of the ocean. The ceviche portion size was larger than expected, and the grilled lobster club had generous chunks of meat. Both were delicious and fresh. Fries were crispy. (-) Compared to the food, the cocktails were average. Food was pricier than expected ($20+ per plate). (Tips) You can order food off the Sea Cat Restaurant menu here, although service is a bit slower.

Such a beautiful beach and the snorkeling and scubaing is about the best there is on the planet. The expansive reef is very close to shore, which breaks the tide so the water is very calm, and the reef wildlife is fantastic. This really is the place you need to visit while in Roatan.

We were on vacation. What's not to like? The atmosphere was great, the service was first class, and the food (wings) were awesome. It rained while we were there but it didn't dampen our spirits. We just got in the water! The Drop Off did not disappoint. Only downside, we were not allowed to use lounge chairs even though we bought food and drinks at the bar. They were reserved for guests, and we were staying in West End near...
