We initially had a booking elsewhere that fell through and had to rebook on extremely short notice here (within hours), and we couldn’t have been happier.
The staff was extremely helpful checking us in and providing us with all the information about nearby attractions, train/bus lines, and fun things to do. We had no issues with booking on short notice either.
The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with the hotel even having a great pillow menu. We were located in one of the main floor rooms near the courtyard. The AC in the room was great (multiple 36 degree days) and kept the room cool throughout our stay.
Location was great. Some attractions like the parliament building were a bit of a walk, but very doable, and especially great being nearby the train line. Tons of great food options nearby, and an awesome pub/bar right around the corner for quick evening drinks. The noise level was very low on the street outside the hotel and it felt very safe.
The hotels breakfast was also great, served at the bar in the lobby with comfortable seating and a great selection of food (although it is a cold breakfast bar, so no omelettes, etc.).
This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in as avid travellers (both for business and pleasure). We would book back here in...
Read moreHotel Collect encompasses every aspect of making your experience a personal and curated trip to Budapest. Their attentive staff, fabulous location, and chíc interior made our trip comfortable and beautiful. Sabina welcomed us to Hotel Collect in the evening and immediately secured many restaurant and tour reservations. She gave us an overview of the city which gave us an understanding of the city before we ventured out. As a local Hungarian, Leo provided many recommendations to restaurants and made the best espresso and tea in all of Budapest. Make sure to ask him to make you one! Julia and Sophia were both so sweet and knew all of the chíc places around Budapest to get out and make your trip FUN. We would return to the hotel just for the friendly staff who make the environment special. The location is prime. Between the Jewish Quarter and a major shopping street (Vaci), you will not run out of places to walk when staying here. The rooms are clean, modern, and lovely. The lobby was immaculate, with a library in all things Budapest and Fashion. Breakfast is beautifully laid out every morning, with many options and local surprises. When I return to Budapest, I will surely stay at Hotel...
Read moreAfter a bumpy flight from Prague, this hotel was exactly the welcome I needed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by one of the staff and handed a glass of bubbly. The hotel is in a perfect location, central but tucked away just off a busy street, so it feels peaceful while still being surrounded by bars, cafes, and local life.
We were about a mile from the Jewish Quarter, where we found tons of great places to eat and discovered two amazing ruin bars. But what really stood out during our stay was the staff. Every single person we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel at home. They helped arrange a day tour, make a dinner reservation and even called ahead to reserve us a spot at one of the local spas.
Breakfast each morning was filling for a day’s worth of walking with fruit, fresh pastries, yogurt, and coffee. The hotel itself has a cozy, intimate vibe, and our room was super comfortable for after a long day of walking, and the shower had great water pressure (always a plus!).
Budapest is such a walkable city, with beautiful parks and charming cafes everywhere you turn. We had an...
