Read moreWent to find out information about timing of exhibition and tickets and to ask about the rules about filming inside.
I was met with frustration anger and disrespect by the staff because she didn't listen and told me up buy tickets online when I wanted to find out about exhibition length and rules.
She (Zimanyi Blanka) told me something that I wasn't a customer that they couldn't tell me and then I was rudely told that I was being rude to them, all whilst I was trying to ask them to simple question as a potential customer.
when I focused on another staff member to inquired further, I was met by this other staff members that also become instantly rude and did not want to listen telling me to buy ticket online.
They are all passive aggressive, and then when I said thank you and left I was also sarcastically told to "have a great day" by another older women that seemed to be the manager.
If you enjoy sadistic Hungarian hospitality this is a great place to experience the true spirit of Hungarian customer services of Budapest.
Send Zimanyi Blanka my best wishes and ask her some questions to see the result. Maybe they treat you different when you pay them the money for the privalidge of their superior self righteous, judgental and nasty service that is not good.
Grumpy bad attitude Hungarians at the front of a beautiful exhibition is not doing the place any favours.
Let's see what happens next time I go say hello and try and pay them money to see their overpriced small and overcrowded exhibition.
Best wishes to the museum and if I was manager I would put these girls through some basic human communication and customer service or I would fire them and find people that appreciate customers and having a job.
Don't expect anything less than disrespect, aggression and judgment if you are not pulling it money out of your pocket when you...
Read moreMy visit to the museum was unlike any other, and I feel the need to share this unique experience. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to explore the museum itself. Right after my friend and I entered, I got very sick. I felt really bad stomach pain which made me lose consciousness a couple of times.
What truly stood out in this challenging situation was the response of the museum staff. They immediately rushed to help me and my friend. Despite the language barrier, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to assist us. She called an ambulance and provided a detailed explanation of the situation, ensuring everything was handled efficiently.
The staff's actions were really amazing. They even closed the bathroom to give us their full attention and privacy. Their dedication and support were outstanding, and I'm very thankful for their quick response. Although I don't know the name of the girl who helped us, my heartfelt thanks go out to her and the whole team.
I understand that such incidents are likely rare at the museum, and I want to express my apologies for any distress I may have caused. This was the first time I experienced something like this as well, and I deeply appreciate the staff's understanding and assistance during this unexpected incident.
As a side note, it was later determined that I had suffered from extreme food poisoning due to a restaurant we had dined at before arriving at the museum. Despite the unusual situation, this experience has made me deeply admire and appreciate the museum's staff. Their quick and professional response in a crisis truly impressed me....
