Cafe Petite — Restaurant in Reykjanesbær

This is a neat little coffee, dessert shop & bar on Framnesvegur Street. They have an eclectic indoor seating area and outside space as well. There are a few pool tables, game boards and a neatly decorated interior. Opening hours are 4pm until late each evening. Menu features coffee drinks, beer, wine and cocktails and a few desserts.

We stopped by recently while spending a night in Keflavik prior to an early morning flight. The lady behind the bar counter was incredibly friendly, drink orders were just fine, local style TV cake slice tasted great, a nice way to end the day. I was staying at the Hotel Kev and happened to see the coffee shop outside my window. And since we were departing in a very short time I only had time to do one thing- which was to get the most delicious Swiss Mocha and a piece of Caramel Apple Pie. I walked in just after 4pm as Gus, the friendly owner, was putting some final touches on the wooden exterior with his flame thrower. Luckily, he put down to torch and got behind the counter to satisfy my chocolate and caramel craving and prepared the perfect mix of coco and caffeine topped with some whipped goodness and sprinkles of chocolate that would keep me awake for my 8 hour journey back...

Easily the most amazing bars for locals bar and the most Inexpensive bars in iceland! The owner is also the bartender along with his wife the place feel like home and is completely hidden. They have raised prices since it opened in 2011. Honestly out of the 15 + bars we’ve gone to this is far and beyond the best! The owner gave us some tips for the Golden circle and a Personal maps I cAnt recommend this place enough seriously!!
