CITIZEN Residency — Hotel in Bengaluru

Highly NOT recommended for people who travel using their own cars. There's no proper car parking. They asked me to park my car in front of other nearby shops at night and in the morning I was asked to move my car to another place when those shops opened. They even provided me keys of other cars and asked me to move those cars if I wanted to park mine, since none of them knew how to drive. Had to do that valet work too in order to find a space for my car. They couldn't even provide me a proper spot to park my car. Language barrier added more chaos to this parking issue. Only the owner (who's not available during night) understands English. No one else understands Kannada or English. All the staff speak only pure hindi. TV remote did not work and I needed plates to eat. Even though they were willing to help with these, explaining what I needed was very difficult since they couldn't understand even basic words in English. It was very difficult to communicate each and everything with them. The booking I made by calling in prior was not in their records when I went there. However, they were able to accomodate me in a decent room. Rooms are decent and tidy. Location is great. But we can have a peaceful stay here only if we know hindi and avoid...

Terrible place !!!

I found the bedsheets was soiled after settling in my alloted room . Asked the room attendant to give me new sheets and he complained to the reception saying I dirtied the sheets !

Insects like cock roaches , ants flies all over the place

They said hot water is available on checking in . When I tried to bath evening by 8pm there was no hot water ... angry I walked to the reception in a towel and demanded they fill a bucket of hit water and give me which they did .

Overall very rude behaviour of reception and room attendant . Wouldn't stay here...

Citizen residency is one of the top 3 most dirtiest and conjusted hotels I ever stayed. The rooms they showed as their are the rooms of Phoenix residency, their sister concern, situated in the very next building.

The rooms of citizen residency are very conjusted, with dirty smell and dirty bathrooms with broken sanitary fittings. They charge Rs. 960+ tax for single occupancy, in which you will get decent rooms in nearby localities.

I vacated the room on the same day and stayed in other hotel for the rest of 2...
