Hotel Empire - Central Street — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Visited Hotel Empire, Central Street recently with friends for a casual dinner. The place has a reputation for late-night meals, so we decided to give it a try. While the location is central and easy to find, the ambience and seating arrangements were not very impressive – it felt quite cramped, and the overall dining area lacked comfort and cleanliness. Not ideal if you’re looking for a relaxed dine-in experience.

We ordered a few dishes – boneless kebabs, tandoori chicken, and their signature biriyani. Unfortunately, the boneless kebabs were underwhelming – they lacked seasoning and were a bit dry and chewy. The tandoori chicken was slightly better, cooked decently but didn’t deliver that smoky, juicy flavor we were hoping for.

On the brighter side, the biriyani was the saving grace. Fragrant, flavorful, and well-portioned – it had the right balance of spices and the meat was tender and juicy. Clearly, this is what they’re best known for.

Service was relatively quick despite the crowd, and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

I recently dined at Empire with a group of 15 people, and while the food was undeniably delicious, the overall experience came with a steep price. The restaurant has a well-deserved reputation for its flavorful and authentic cuisine, and it certainly lived up to that. We ordered a variety of dishes, including their famous biryanis, kebabs, and other specialties. Each dish was packed with rich flavors, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The biryanis were particularly outstanding, with tender, well-seasoned meat and fragrant rice that had just the right amount of spice.

The service was efficient, especially considering the size of our group. The staff was attentive, ensuring that everyone had what they needed and that our meals arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere was lively, making it a great spot for group dining.

However, the bill at the end of the meal was substantial. While the quality of the food and service justified the cost to some extent, it’s definitely not an everyday dining option. I have ordered Tandoori Chicken from Hotel Empire No:78, Central Steet, Bengaluru 560001, On 14.08.24 Time 19.43.39. Bill No: HECCO-318 , TYPE TAKE AWAY, Cashier : Showkath. The Tandoori Chicken was very hard and burnt too much and spoiled also, second the Onion is smelly spoiled to the core. The moment I opened it was smelly and When we all kept in mouth literally vomitted. Spoiled to the core. I never ordered Tandoori this is first time ordering Tandoori Chicken, really bad experience. But I used to be a regular customer for Grilled chicken it was outside and I go exclusively for the person who prepare Grill Chicken. It since 14 years I regularly go to this hotel, but, if it is packed we need to think twice🧐 whether it' s spoiled or not we don't know. How Many may complain that also I don't know. I highly request people to check if it's packed or else you may get the experience like me. I called customer care twice and complained. I will not recommend this hotel.
