First of all, the hotel facilities are stunning, with a beautiful rooftop pool and dining areas. The room we stayed in was very nice, though the open concept bathroom was a bit inconvenient. The majority of the staff were excellent; however, the front desk staff (particularly the managers) were quite difficult. My group were in Bali to attend at an academic conference and had booked a deluxe King room and a roll-away bed for 6 nights. Upon arriving at about 2am from a very long flight, we checked-in fine but discovered we had not been given a roll-away bed as requested. When we contacted the front desk about this, we were immediately met with defensiveness and told that we hadn't booked a roll-away bed and that they had none available. Rather than trying to work out a solution, the manager berated us and was adamantly declaring that this was our fault and not his. After finally receiving one, we were randomly woken up at 10:30pm on another night with someone at our door demanding we pay for the roll-away bed now instead of at checkout and they refused to leave until we did so. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable. They claimed this was because we had already paid for our room via Expedia. However, I have booked through third-party sites many times in the past and never encountered a 4-star hotel that doesn't let you add additional payments to your tab, which is then paid at check out. It seemed like they thought we were going to leave without paying, which was a bit insulting. We also did not fail to notice that a nearby storage room contained at least 5 roll-away beds for the entire duration of our stay. I'm still not sure what the motivation of saying they had none available was. Throughout our stay, there were also multiple occasions where we were met with surprise additional costs that were not clearly represented on the booking site. Each time this happened, I was spoken down to and constantly interrupted by the management who were extremely defensive and clearly had no respect for me (a woman in my mid-20s). Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if this review was met with similar obstinance. Overall, this hotel would be perfect if it wasn't for disrespectful management we...

Almost complete dream
We choice this place to stay our last 11 days in bali, what was the better choice ever!
Front of Kuta beach, amazing big breakfast, close of few restaurants and shopping's.
All almost perfect, staff very nice and helpful.
I need to say thanks for the duty manager for all what did to us, but
The dream get a smash,
In our last day in Bali the hotel organize to we leave our baggage with the concierge/porters, so when you are in 4-5 star hotel you never ever will think about theft right?
Well but that happen, i and my fiance left everything with the concierge/porters include her handbag, what i left some US dollar (in side of my wallet and hers wallet) for some emergency, and i save 1 note of each rupiah to me collect, and what happen? The concierge/porter rob me $50.000 rupiah and 35US dollar.
People will say, "why are you complain about this what isn't nothing", the question isn't how much was, but think, you doing a trip and some airport do not accept card (like Kuala Lumpur), you need to have cash. And when you are going to use that cash what you save for that occasion, that just gone.
I just miss the money at Sydney after few hours after left Indonesia. This make me very disappointed, and more disappointed is, since i back home we tried to contact the hotel and nobody response my emails or notifications.
The sad is when something is missing, people always say is the HK, but they i can tell was perfect. Never miss nothing from my room, since i always left my stuff in the drawers and always left money too.
So if you stay there never leave anything of value in your baggage with the concierge/porters, if going to leave use locker

Read moreWe stayed here for 4 nights. It’s a great location and our executive ocean view balcony room was spacious and well designed. The balcony however, was a little tired, dirty glass and quite small and had sort of a restricted view. We also had a leak coming from the pool above us on occasions that would drip water onto our balustrade! The hotel pool is on Level 4, there’s little shade and it’s very, very windy, the pool water was on the colder side, not sure if this is with the wind or the time of year? I only got in once. Our room was quite noisy at night as it faced the street to get the ocean view, which was okay until it went on until the early hours of the morning. Breakfast was a buffet, plenty of choice, probably not enough Western choices for us, There was also no skim milk for cereal etc. Happy hour is at Riva on the roof top. View is lovely of the sunset. Buy 1 drink and get 1 free, but had to be EXACTLY the same, which was a shame as it stops you from trying other cocktails. If I had a Gin Fizz, then I had to have 2 - made no sense when they are a buy 1 gut 1 and they are the same price? The food was good here, very tasty and good quality, the service was also very good. We were given a free extended check out for our late flight which was wonderful. As we said, this hotel is in a great location, good if you just want to shop for a couple of days, but not a relaxing, laid back hotel from my perspective.
Widya our room attendant was excellent, very attentive.
Tude - concierge was very polite, friendly and excellent at his job
Rai was excellent on reception (check out) very effiecient...
